Part of the must-do day trips in Mauritius is a visit to where the people live. We chose Rosehill because it has a great food culture and has recently become a foodie destination.
There is now a new mall which offers parking, a food court and fantastic shopping.

That's perhaps the best Vlog of Rose Hill on Internet 14:23: maccachia coco: mini brioche with a nugget of sugary coconut inside 15:21: great philosophical question - the main attribute is RH concentrates lots of schools and colleges being the educational hub of the country. The British council is there so as its the French equivalent IFM, then Universities, MES, MIE are not far away. It's the heart of the urban metropolitan area spanning from Port Louis to Curepipe and politically speaking is the most tolerant city in Mauritius representing Mauritians of all colors and creed (being an MMM stronghold). True Grand Baie, Goodlands, Mahebourg are beautiful villages but there is sthg abt people there I feel uncomfortable with... even as a born and bred Mauritian. BTW Curepipe has a similar vibe to Rose Hill with it's galleries, arcades, and today elevated train station and it also concentrates lots of colleges 20:40 - This is where I went to primary school (NDDV) and yet it took me 30sec to process where that was judging by the extent of new real estate developments

Comparing Curepipe to Rose Hill? Is this a joke?

Thanks for the great complement and comment. There are a lot of colleges around, I stopped showing them as there were so many.

@@aufstiegundfall, irrespective of the technical similarities that you have listed, the atmosphere of the two towns are vastly different. Someone who likes living in Curepipe would most likely not like to live in Rose Hill.

@@_JohnDoe I've been living in Rose Hill for 20 years but I still love Curepipe coz the climate is cooler so your point is absolutely moot
