This is the third video I have watched and I love it :). I have been to this castle three times now and I will be going back as I learn so much each time that I go. However, I don't remember seeing the press. May only Germans use the press? On my next trip to Germany, I will be spending time in Wittenburg and many other places on the Luther trail. Speaking of trails where exactly is the trail that yall were walking on? I had walked the road from the parking lot all three times but I would like to find the train that yall walked on :). I am looking forward to watching more of your videos, yes I am a fan already lol lol :).

I know Josephine (Sorry, don't know her real name, just a guess) is German and probably know that, but just in the case. That was a Burg, a Burg was built to protect, with proper fortifications, etc. A Schloss, on the other hand, was built to represent, with no fortifications, but with nice buildings, big parks, etc. It's normally in the name Like Wartburg or Marienburg Sometimes a village or town are called after the burg like Marburg or Magdeburg. In the case of a Schloss it's similar, like Schloss-Neuschwanstein or Schloss-Schönbrunn. Like always there are also exceptions like Schloss-Nymphenburg, it has Burg in his name, but it's a Schloss and was never a Burg. Sadly, English makes there no difference, at least so far as I know. The German in me like to tell you more, but I don't want to bother you anymore. ;) Have a great time in Germany !

Elderberries, and you'll puke your guts out if you eat them raw. You might still puke if you have too much of them as juice, they have tons of aggressive acid - but also tons of iron and vitamin C. I remember a night with a bottle of homemade summer wine out of elderberries. It was like the Exorcist, just the colour was different... By the way, that's the shrub Harry Potter's Elder Wand (yeah, the deathly hallow) is made out of.

Wartburg is a great place, and, after being the refuge for Martin Luther in the 16th century, became once more a historic spot in the 19th century with it being one of the centres of the movement for German statehood.
