I just love you two have not seen you for some time. We are permanently living in our caravan now and travelling around New Zealand we rented out our home. We are currently wintering over in the Nelson/Tasman area in the South island. Have learner a lot from you and kitted out our caravan keeping your ideas in our minds all the time

We haven’t been to Cherry Hinton for some time but over the years has been a favourite of ours. Cambridge is a beautiful city but do careful you don’t get run over by a bike 🤣 Trev

Watched this video when it was first published and then kind of forgot about it. Just got back from a weekend away at Cherry Hinton and Cambridge and remembered your video. Re-visited it this afternoon and realised we have just done a carbon copy of your visit, even down to using Footprints guided tour. The only thing we didn’t do was the punting, the company we spoke to wanted £78 for two of us …we decided that was daylight robbery and politely declined! 😂 Hope you are both well, we’re looking forward to seeing another video soon! 🤞🏼Tristan & Katie 😀

Pretty sure we didn’t spend the amount you quoted… sounds very expensive! There are many companies offering punting trips but maybe at this time of year they’re more limited & so you didn’t get the option to shop around 🤔 We’re really looking forward to getting away again in the Spring, take care both of you & happy travels. We stayed at the site early 2023 and our big surprise was the almost continuous (starts at 8 am and continued till 10pm) noise from the sports field that is adjacent to the site, very loud and invasive. we asked the staff and was told it wasn't a special thing, its every day. Although the pitch you showed was bright and spacious, there are other areas not so pleasant, especially those behind the toilet block (which was our only choice) . Be aware that if you take your dog, the designated dog walk is extremely short, it's all of 2 minutes long. We would never return there. Staff not very friendly.

Hi Leanne, We can’t remember which pitch we were on but honestly, it’s a lovely site & we’re pretty sure you’ll be happy wherever you pitch. You do get the option to have a look around the site & choose where you want to pitch before confirming with the office. Hello Keith and Michele, A question , not sure if you no the answer, but insurance for a Motorhome, should it be more, the same, or less than a car ? .

How did you reserve a pitch they don’t do that.

Hi Steve, When we checked in, before leaving the office, the warden recommended that particular pitch, which we booked. It was then allocated to us & we were given the corresponding keycard. After leaving the office, we had to fill up our motorhome with water at the service point & by the time we arrived at our allocated pitch, someone else had pulled up to take it. Obviously it was the fault of the office for not clarifying this with the people checking in after us. Hope this helps, many thanks for watching, sending our best wishes, Keith & Michele.
