I did not expect to get a history lesson but I loved it!

Lovely vlog and really fun to see especially because I went to Edinburgh last week and recognised all the places. I definitely recommend to go on a tour to the Highlands and Loch Ness on your future trip, the nature was fantastic.

glasgow has amazing museums, shopping and especially nightlife !!

If you go to Glasgow you should visit the west end which has lovely old buildings, the university campus, Kelvingrove art gallery and museum etc. It’s different from Edinburgh but in a good way and still loads of history x

woo i go to the university of glasgow! its got great buildings in the west end and great shops. the vibe is always the best in the city centre because glasgow is known for its people (even been named the kindest city in europe). the hunterian museum, botanic garden, science museum, pollok country park and you just have to go see a small gig

I fricking love Edinburgh and Scotland. I've visited Edinburgh three times and I still want to come back xD History is super interesting to me as well and Edinburgh has an abundance of history, which makes it every history nerd's dream town to visit :P And I had pretty much the same reaction when trying haggis for the first time. I expected to dislike it and yet it was surprisingly really good :3 If you can, take a trip up to the Highlands, completely different nature and so beautiful. First time I went to Edinburgh we also took a trip up to Inverness. There's a bus that goes out to a teeny tiny town called Drumnadrochit which has a Loch Ness monster museum. Even if you don't believe in the monster the museum is super interesting for collecting all the myths and "evidence" of the monster and compiling the whole narrative.

I might be going to Edinburgh in October and am looking for hotels. Where did you stay and were you happy with your pick?

Lived just outside and worked in Edinburgh on and off my whole life but wasn't aware of the makeup of Edinburgh or the Paisley close story(or prob 99.9% of any other stories) you told. Must try harder.
