That garden center is huge. Perfect place to get your plants and your steps in. They had a great variety of house plants. I can imagine how pretty it is in there when everything is blooming in the Spring and Summer.

Angie and Ambrose, it is SO delightful seeing you two enjoying your time together at this beautiful nursery! You're like kids in a candy shop! I love that you're so happy and enthusiastic in your new home in Texas! You are going to love the bluebonnets in our springtime! 💚💚 Linda (your new neighbor in Houston!)

The purple trailing do best here. There’s also a native yellow lantana that thrives 👍

Angie, Ambrose, When choosing a fig, ya'all may want to go w/ a closed-eye variety. Bugs will crawl into the eyes of open-eyed varieties & eat the fig from the inside out. Some bugs even lay their eggs inside. 😝 Closed-eyed varieties help prevent this. 😊

Could you do a houseplant video? They are in a greenhouse with all that filtered light from above. The transition to a home with dry heater heat or cold a/c air and less ligh t. I have lost my share. How would you care for indoor ferns? What a lovely garden center!
@GardenObsessions
@GardenObsessions 7 ай бұрын
Definitely will do a video! 😃🪴💚 Ferns like places like bathrooms or near kitchen faucet. Temperatures under 75 and they don’t do well in dry air they like humid environments. That’s why they do so well in bathrooms the steam from the shower does it good. There is where I would place them when bringing in home for first time so they don’t go into shock. Also not replant them till they get used to their new environment. Lighting should be bright but no direct sunlight, north or east facing windows are perfect areas. I sometimes place ferns on a tray filled with pebbles and water to help with humidity. But there are so many ferns to choose from. I have a few that are very easy and not finicky and if I forget to water them they will come back no matter what. Also as soon as top soil dries water them. Hope this helps I’ll do a video soon I love growing ferns. 💚💚💚💚💚💚

Childhood memories are the best and in the garden! 😃💚 We are studying the new outdoor space taking our time. There are a few we might be planting pretty soon I think I’ve made up my mind on where they should go in the ground. But we do want to take our time to come up with a garden design. It’s going to be so much fun! 😃🙏💐💚

Hey, ya'all, Just curious--do Snapdragons have a scent? 😊
@GardenObsessions
@GardenObsessions 8 ай бұрын
Most snapdragons are not fragrant other than the scent of freshness. Hybrids on the other hand can have some scent. What we know of for a fact is that the Angelface series from Proven Winners have some wonderful scents particularly wedge wood blue which has a grape soda scent. Hope this helps.
