Which ‘2 in 1’ windows tablet/laptop is the best replacement for a iPad Pro if I want easy ‘plug and play’ ultra portable windows 10/11 use as a touchscreen tablet for watching videos and streaming KZfaq etc but then swap the SSD to a Linux distro when in the office on the desk for work/study use with plug in wifi dongle/keyboard/mouse/external monitor etc if not linux compatible I would probably just get an iPad but they don’t allow usb data transfer and can’t install linux or even boot into a live instance of Linux I don’t really need a pen/stylus to draw with, just touchscreen with fingers in tablet mode and mouse/keyboard is fine when using at the desk I am thinking to go with a Surface Pro 8 as the keyboard is completely removable? but I can use it as a laptop away from home/office, and then use larger external keyboard and mouse and monitor at the desk with linux

Hi. Would you please make a full 10 minute review of the Lenovo 7i 16 inch with i7 12700H Processor and Arc Graphics with benchmarks? I'm especially worried about overheating. There's no full review for the 12700H model anywhere although it's being sold for a while. To give some ideas as to who uses this laptop is teachers. You're focusing on students a lot but forgetting about teachers who have very similar needs to those of students to take or produce notes. Thanks.

I am not sure who is the target audience either for the Yoga 7i 16 inch, but I know I am part of it. I teach math classes online but from my own house, so I am not worried about portability at all, and the bigger screen gives me more space with which to solve problems on my screen, as I feel for complicated questions I sometimes am running out of screen real estate with my current Dell XPS 15 2-in-1. I really like the Dell XPS, but it is no longer available in anything larger than 14 inch, so I have been doing research, and this video has helped me to decide on the Yoga 7i rather than the 9i, I really appreciate you making this. Thank you.

@@johnrogers1249 I actually haven't even had a chance to test it. When I bought this one it was on sale for Christmas or Black Friday or something for like $700 off. I needed a backup just in case my Dell has issues which it has occasionally beyond it overheating. Unfortunately Lenovo was all out of their stylus pen and could not get me a pen until end of January. So I had the computer for 2 months and unable to use it for it's intended purpose. Since I got the pen, I have just been too busy to set it up, as I film for my channel also, and then have a lot of client consultations and general life responsibilities. But I think I will try and set it up this weekend, make sure it works, and that the stylus pen works well. My personal opinion though. I had a 40 pound backpack I walked a quarter mile to the bus stop with as a kid. I feel like as an adult...I could probably use the added exercise of carrying whatever additional weight it represents. Every calorie burned and bit of strength maintained is a valuable outcome in my opinion. So it wouldn't bother me even if it felt heavy at first. I'd see it as a blessing and work to become stronger so that it didn't feel heavy. *shrugs* did you get one? Do you feel it was bothersome commuting with it?

Lenovo yoga 7i 16 inch, has two versions: one with 12700h and another with 1260p. I was eyeing the one with 12700h and arc gpu, but I've heard there are tremendous amount of driver issues and bugs in the arc graphics. It's a shame that Lenovo didn't release this with AMD soc, like 6800u. One question : was the note taking experience satisfactory? I see a slight delay when you put the pen on screen and when the line appears. Wasn't it off-putting?

Note taking experience on these laptops doesn't match Ipad Pro or Samsung Galaxy Tab S8. But the slight delay isn't really an issue. More important factors are palm rejection and pressure sensitivity, which work really well on these laptops.

the hinge on my yoga somehow dislodged and pushed the lcd display out lose at one corner. not impressed. all in all it died after 5 years. not too happy

On your recommendation , I bought the Lenovo Yoga 7i 14 2in1 convertible. It had a severe heating issue and the support people kept saying that "its so slim that it will obviously heat" . I'm talking about a brand new laptop . Its screen and keypad area were hot like hell.

change the battery mode to intelligent cooling. i have it in 4k and never faced any such issues until i put it on extreme performance mode.

Just confirming the 16 inch version doesn't come with a stylus. Our Arc version has been stable for us, but definitely hoping new drivers draw out more performance in the future. We don't do any graphic design stuff. Haven't tried editing on that machine yet. Mostly bought it for wife as a semi desktop. We got a great deal on an open box when these were on sale for $400 off.

No, they are different in US market. But Lenovo doesn't follow consistent naming convention in international market. So its messed up
