Another long-awaited Acrylic Pour Experiment!
Little Stirring vs. Many stirring, how to stir the paint after added the Silicone Oil into it.
The difference is significant, you will see at the end of the video.

I like the less stirring one because the cells are bigger and more widespread. Now that I see that I realize it most pieces are so busy and crowded. I like it!

An interesting experiment, thank you. Both are nice, I like them both. I saw somewhere that it also makes a difference at what stage you blow, If you don’t blow until halfway through tilting then the cells tend to retain their shape more.

Both are very nice though I like more with less stirring as the cells are more defined. On the other hand you gave me a great idea when I am not in the mood of stirring!! because the outcome is fantastic. For next time I would try with just two colors so we can decide better. Thanks for posting so great videos. I love them!!

I love them both, however I like the cleaner look with a little bit of cells - you know, sometimes “less is more”. 😉 My daughter, on the other hand, loves the one you stirred most leaving the most cells. Love these comparison videos! Fun to watch! ❤️ I just order some Liquitex Iridescent medium to craft with my kids. You’ve inspired us to make a mess! We can’t wait! Floetrol is hard to get where I live.

Both are nice but I perfer the "Much Stirring" with more cells. Do you find that adding white between each colour tends to fade out the colours and they lose their brightnesss? It's happened to me and my paintings look washed out. I love your tutorials so please keep them coming :)

I'm in Georgia, USA, where would I find Amsterdam paint? Would it be about the same as Liquidtex? I want to paint, not run around looking for one particular brand of paint. Thanks

Yes, they are quite similar, but you might have to tune a bit with the mixing ratio. Good luck! :)
