Hey guys! I am happy to announce that I passed my Ph.D. defense and will officially receive my doctorate in materials science and engineering!!! So excited about this achievement and in this video, I talk about some of my thoughts leading up to the defense and how a Ph.D. defense is conducted.

congrats man, im here from your past calculus video, and im glad to see you from struggling with calculus to finally finished your phd. You have motivated me in my degree in engineering after failing my computing and calculus classes.

Congrats! How was the phd defense? I saw your video on it but you ended the video when the audience left but I assume you had several more questions with the Phd committee that you didn’t record? If I’m wrong please inform me, but you’re awesome. I am too nervous when speaking so I doubt I’d handle a PhD defense well at all.
