this film meant so much more to me than it would to most people, as a person with bipolar disorder, that ending with realising saddness is needed and not a bad thing but essential to be a whole person, man, i cried so hard when she smiled after finally letting go. im actiually crying writing this it has that effect on me. sad i know :p

believe it or not, Animat gave the film the Animat seal of approval and still the best animated film of the year!

I loved this movie! I am so happy Pixar got back on track. Going from Toy Story 3 to Cars 2 made me want to cry. Brave was alright until the dumb mom turns into a bear story came in. Monsters U I felt was a step in the right direction, but it wasn't the biggest step. This one only gives me more hope for Pixar in future.

As much as I find it ridiculous when people use other reviews as a reason to watch something or not, honestly, if some of you really need another person's input on a film to make a decision like that, I recommend checking out the Sibling Rivalry review for those still skeptical. Not only do both Doug and Rob Walker love this film, but they address the fact that this idea has been done before and give their own thoughts onto how this film still feels original despite the fact that it's not a completely new idea. (They also address how much better the film is than the trailers implied and how the majority of Pixar films tend to outdo their trailers) I also recommend the CellSpex review. It's shorter, she actually addresses the issues with a character like Joy but still recommends it.

Yeaaah... Genisys needs to be scrapped. That's all I have to say about it. I honestly thought that the movie would end with Riley's emotions being able to see the emotions of her mom and dad, signifying an understanding of how they feel. But for what I got, it was pretty good. The hell with a sequel to Frozen, we NEED one for Inside Out.

Torterra No, I think Pixar needs to get away from sequels. Did we seriously need a Toy Story 4 or a Monsters Inc. prequel?

jordan windsor Honestly, no. But then we never would have gotten Toy Story 2 and 3. A sequel isn't bad so long as it serves the story well. Movies like Cars 2 DO NOT. BUT.. if they think that a Toy Story 4 will be able to add onto the story and further it, I'll AT LEAST give it a chance. And I am MORE than willing to give a sequel to Inside Out a chance because it seems like it could help make that world it inhabits richer and more interesting.

A sequel is called for when the audience asks "what happens next?" That is your que for a justified sequel. Now you need to make it and there is usually more crap than gems but I did ask "what happens next?" at the end of Inside Out. I also asked that at the end of the incredibles and finding nemo. I didn't ask that for toy story 3 but after I say the shorts and ABC specials I thought there could be more story to tell. Personally I'd like a more adult film where A Bonnie know the toys are alive and she doesn't go nuts and as she learns about the world the toys learn too and when the subject of rights come the toys realize the have no rights. So they out themselfs and fight for their rights and the rest of the movie ensues.

L. T C. Isn't that Toy Story plot VERY similar to the plot to Ted 2?
