My parents were always together. Drove to and from work together(worked at the same place which is also how they met)spent evenings together. Went to the grocery store and church together. They just enjoyed being together and family has always been the most important thing to them. They did that for 32 years and were just so content and happy. Sadly my dad passed away going on 3 years ago in his mid 50s. I know my mom is so glad they did spend so much time together since they won't get to grow old together. And I'm so blessed that I had parents who put us and each other above everything.

When Jess said that her house was built 30ish years ago I was thinking oh wow so like 1970? And then I stopped and thought about it and realized that her house was probably built around 1990 and I was born in 1992 and I’m not okay. 🥲

Spending evenings together as the default is NOT weird! Keep it in your routine so you don’t grow apart. (And maybe plan a weekly date night, but don’t forget to make a date night for yourself! Self care and nurturing relationships are both so important!)

I am a puddle of tears now 😣 we had to put down our beagle on Friday. One of the things I've always enjoyed about your vlogs is getting to see Pinocchio. Somehow I did not expect to be so overwhelmed. It hurt, but seeing you love on your beagle boy gave me all the feels.

In the times that we’re currently living in, I don’t think you ever need to explain burnout or why you need to take time off for yourself and your family. I admire you for acknowledging it and your true followers on here will understand. Have a wonderful and restful downtime. We’ll all be here when you come back. ❤️

I really appreciate how open and candid you are about everything including your mental health. So often we see KZfaqrs and the "perfect" life they show on the internet and we start wondering why we can't be perfect like them. But when people are open and honest it really allows us to see that we're all the same with the same worries and fears and anxieties. It makes me (at least) not feel so alone! Enjoy your little mini break and don't sweat it, we'll be here when you come back

Yes, Tyler’s editing is amazing. His travel videos are legit travel channel quality. They need to give him his own show. The Alaska cruise videos were mind blowing. I hate that we can’t compliment him on his own channel so I’ll do it here!

Jessica, I’m not saying this to be mean or rude, but in the beginning of this vlog I thought to myself that you looked a little worn out, and then during your last portion of the video you mentioned taking a little break. You take your time, don’t worry about uploading, I for one believe in taking time off to recharge and spend family time together, your mental health and well-being comes first. Xxxx

Honestly, I’m surprised you don’t take (at least) a couple of weeks off every year and shut down YT & social media for that time. In most other jobs you’d be able to but I understand that’s harder when you’re self employed.
