I’m a Trader Joe’s fan but most people don’t know Trader Joe’s is owned by Aldi‘s and I believe Aldi‘s has the better produce. I alternate between both stores and love them equally.

I definitely did not know that... I tried Jewel Osco today (I think that's the name) and it was decent, produce was a lot better! I will have to check out Aldi too for produce, thank you!

Untrue, Aldi doesn't own Trader Joes. Trader Joe's and Aldi are owned by brothers who actually compete against the other which caused contention in the family. I, agree that Aldi's produce and products rivals TJ's, that's why I don't buy into the hype. Lidl's is another German based store that's new to the American market. They have quality products that will keep some coins in your pockets.

Try getting your produce from Aldi. And the quality & price will be even better. End of the month date ideas: Try a piano bar. A lot of the museums are free this month with a reservation. Brunch at The Gwen, Sunda, or the Sugar Factory. iFly indoor skydiving. Night boat tour on the river. House of Blues. Why did I get hype like I'm going on a date? 😂 Have fun. There are so many things to do.

@@itsjustjhordan Ooh I love boogie! Say less lol. Try the Odyssey Chicago River night dinner tour. Also this is the free month for museums in the city too. We gotta balance the bougie budget lol. Don't forget the House of Blues and Kitchen Kocktails as well.

The Kung Pao Chicken, Chicken Tikki, Cinnamon Rolls, Unexpected Cheddar Cheese, Carne Asada (for tacos), Chicken Andouille Sausage, Chicken Apple Sausage, Dried Mandarin Tangerines, Sweet and Spicy Pecans, Sea Salt Ripple Chips, Buffalo chicken Dip, Cauliflower Gnoochi, and Organic Elote Corn Chip Dippers with a Mexican style street corn flavor are just some of my favorite Trader Joe’s item.

Fresh Thyme definitely has a farmer’s market vibe. They locally source. Not sure if there is one close to you but it’s worth checking out 🥰

Greetings Hun. I love that this is your first visit. In NY you can return items you don’t like. Let them know about the produce if spoiled, they will remove it. Use the produce quickly it doesn’t last long. They donate to food banks and drives. I personally enjoy their dumplings and the pepperoni Mac and Cheese. Hopefully Chicago is the same. Enjoy. Peace.

You have to try Mariano’s too!! It’s a grocery store, a bit better than Jewel. They have everything there, you can even get food cooked. I imagine it’s like Publix(even though I’ve never been to a damn Publix lmao.)

If you like creamers....try the brown sugar oatmilk creamer, and the croissant croutons, the vanilla sheet cake, cookie butter, roasted garlic salsa, organic Naan bread crackers, these things stay on my Trader Joe's shopping list.

I love your channel ! im just here watching all of your videos lol I can see why people think you're older than your actual age you're very mature. also im really here because I notice you talk about your migraines often. I have also suffered with migraines for years as well, nothing worked and doctors couldn't figure anything out with many tests performed. I didn't get any relief until I actually randomly went to an allergist. come to find out a few things I was allergic to was causing my extreme migraines. I feel your pain , just wanted to give you a thought on another avenue to maybe get you some relief. I know you didn't ask but hope it helps.

The produce at Trader Joe’s is awful - I don’t recommend. They’re great for some of their frozen meals like the pastas are awesome, the spices are great, good for olive oil, cheese, etc… but skip the produce.
