My heavens! It been so long since I made fudge that way, I’d forgotten what a pain it is. For at least 10 years, I make fudge in my blender, without marshmallow, and everyone likes my fudge the best! It’s so smooth and creamy, not powdery or gritty at all. I make chocolate fudge and peanut butter fudge that way.

When I was a teenager my family and other church members would go to Stoney’s every Sunday night after church. Their strawberry pie were so good. But I would get their Slim Jim Sandwich and I loved their Hot Fudge cakes. They would give you a free hot fudge cake on your birthday.

Walmart is cold!! We wear coats and still freeze in the entire store!! Leslie you worked hard today. This is my last day of work until Jan 2. I save up my PTO time and have done this for the last 3 years!! Love you guys!!

Yes, my little neighborhood Walmart is like a freezer. I do not like that at all. If they pushed their heat up, I would probably spend more money there, but I want to flee from there as soon as possible. Love you guys, ❤️

It is so funny when he talks about "walking the chickens ." Chevron Gas Station in Tipton,California. Best food, but a ton of cow poop on the shoes of the farmers that come in to eat. If your nose doesn’t work to good, it’s wonderful, cause the food is out of this world. 😊

Yes, we do have Shoneys here in Tennessee. One in Lenoir City, TN. Several in Knoxville, TN., and more all over TN. We especially love their breakfast.

Yes there a few Shoneys. I know there in one off I-40 r there was at exit 44. I've stopped at it before when I go place flowers on my dad's grave but I haven't paid attention lately. Also there is one in Pigeon Forge TN. If there r others I'm not sure. Love their strawberry pies.

There’s a gas station near me in Franklin, NC. It’s a hole in the wall gas station. In back is a restaurant where Guy Fieri came and filmed for his show back in the day. Cafe Rel is the name. The gas station is called the Hot Spot.

Leslie your hair looks so pretty today! I remember Quincy, MD, my hubby likes it still. We still have several Stoney’s here in East Tennessee. Their Strawberry Pie was always my favorite thing they made. So yummy! Our Walmart always feels so hot to me. Interesting that others say theirs is cold. Their temps are controlled by corporate I was told a few years ago. You’d think they’d have them all the same if that were true?! I’ll bet you’d like our Walmart, but you’d love our Lowe’s it ALWAYS feels like it’s 80 degrees in there!

Yes, I guess being able to buy hot dogs, taquitos, egg rolls, pizza slices, fried chicken, and much more. And, like going to Sam's Club, a cheap place to eat lunch. We're in Oklahoma, not sure you would have the same filling stations as us, but sounds like they've caught on to the same service as here.

I was the dining room supervisor at the Shoneys in Cordele GA for 25 years. The only 2 I know of in GA are one in Ashburn GA and one in Byron Ga

Yes,, we do have a Shoney’s!! We like going there. It’s about a good 18 - 20 miles away. I like their buffet. God bless y’all!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Y’all are so precious. Put you some cream in a mason jar (a canning jar ), put a lid on it and shake the heck out of it!! Your grandbabies would probably have a great time helping you shake, shake shake!!💕💕

We love shoney's a funny story when I was a teenager my oldest Brother and his first wife took me there after Church for their breakfast when they went to pay they only charged them the child's pay for me. The waitress told them to please don't say anything. It was so funny. I teased them for a long time after

Hi Leslie No, our Walmart's here in Southern California are not cold. In fact they are so hot. I hate going in there. In fact, I will not go in Walmart in the summer time. No way. It's like a sauna. It's horrible. If it was cold I'd hang out in there

One year at one church I was attending we had a New Years Eve Watch Service all in attendance brought an Hors d'oeuvres to share, worship music and games for the children in attendance, would also be a great time for Sherbet Punch.

Three places I always freeze: church, restaurants and grocery stores!!! I miss HoJo's (Howard Johnson's) and I miss Shoney's hot fudge cake.....the wonderful chocolate cake with the big slab of vanilla ice cream in between and the hot fudge and whipped cream on the top.....Oh my, they were wonderful. We're trying to cut back on sweets and my friend sent a bag full of cookies, buckeyes, nut rolls, pizzelles and coconut macaroons.....Guess we can start over Jan 1...LOL......Merry Christmas!

All the goodies looked great. Fudge is a favorite around here we like it a lot. I make a microwave fudge that tastes so good. Our Walmart is always cold we get in and out as fast as we can. My mom and I used to make fantasy fudge but we never used a thermometer. I don’t know how we got it to turn out 😂 We do have gas stations here that have hot dogs and other things on the roller. They also have pizza and sub sandwiches. We have one smaller station that has their own chef and makes really delicious food, a little pricier but it’s not the typical gas station food.

You do a wonderful job making all of these goodies. My beloved Mom used to make fudge now and then, and it was delicious, but she didn’t have a candy thermometer and didn’t want one. So she had a hard time with the fudge. She didn’t like making things that needed a candy thermometer lol She had such a sweet tooth. You guys crack me up, between the hundred dollars worth of groceries and the Tux son lol I would have done the same thing, Leslie! I love you guys, God bless you all ❤️🤗🙏🎄

We have a gas station named Keith's here in south Mississippi. They have very good food, plate lunches and pizza!! Our Walmart is always hot!!
