Would you think I was weird if I told you I deliberately pushed neck surgery back a week so I'd have your vlogmas to watch as I recover? Because if it's weird then no. I absolutely did not do that but if it's not weird... I totally did and have no regrets! Thanks for getting me through those last few spans of time before the sleepy meds kick in lol

I have a similar comment. I was having a hard time falling asleep, so I slipped in my AirPods to watch their vlogmas. I did fall asleep and dreamt that I hung out with them. 🫣 In the dream, they were very gracious and sweet despite my being a stranger. It was SO awkward, that thankfully I woke up. 😂

Also, I LOVE that you did not do it with your names because it becomes more brandable, it also gives you the opportunity for brand expansion! I recommend having someone who repurposes short clips from the podcast to tiktok, trust me! AND please, this name is awesome PLEASE TRADEMARK IT for the podcast and any other classes. I actually like the Tyler history lessons lol. It’s so fun to learn about these things in a “cliffsnotes” version rather than reading entire books on these subjects. I couldn’t stick with it if I had to read in depth historical nonfiction books so Tyler giving us an abbreviated summary is perfect

I was thinking the 80s with the mug. If you saw it in the 90s it was just hanging out from the previous decade lol. The first time I went to Chicago I was living in NJ. I called it a friendly version of NYC.

I think a thing to remember about big cities especially east coast cities (NYC, Boston, etc) is that we're not necessarily nice but we're kind. I've seen some of the most beautiful acts of kindness from otherwise gruff "mean" city folks.

I've lived in NYC for almost 9 years, and I actually find that native New Yorkers are some of the best people here. My partner's had to walk with a cane since June, and there was one day no one on the subway was giving up their seat. This probably 30-something mom who had a stroller and a young child herself (and was standing) and was almost certainly a native New Yorker told these teenagers to get up so my partner could sit down. I find that native New Yorkers (in general) have a way of truly looking out for people that is totally unlike the midwest, in my opinion. (I'm from Michigan.)

In my experience people in larger cities are much friendlier than in smaller towns/suburbs. I feel like the broad demographic of people that exists in large cities ( broad in many ways i.e. culturally, socio-economically, etc.) results in the people actually being friendlier because of being less judgemental and overall more open minded. It makes for a more welcoming place for visitors and people who have just relocated.

Disneyville is cute! 👏 👌 And your little trip made me really want to go to Chicago too (I live in Europe), it kinda reminds me of Manchester in England, not sure why? ALSO I’ve actually found people in big cities to generally be more polite and helpful, maybe because the need to co-exist peacefully is bigger when there’s less space between people? Obviously people can suck everywhere but that’s my theory. Anywayyy thanks for another lovely video byeeeeee
