Does NOT sound like a male voice at any time. She has unique dramatic contralto voice and super accurate , super powerful. Unique.

She has a masculine/androgynous quality to her tone that is a common marker for dramatic contraltos. That is to say that if someone heard the first part of this song without seeing the video or knowing any context, they might not be able to tell if it's a man or woman singing. The fact she's singing those low notes so easily also can fool the ear. Higher voices struggle a bit more down there.

This woman is like a one in a billion that has this sort of control and quality to get voice. She has access to typically male ranges to her voice. Like Dimaash who can access typically female ranges she is a freak of nature in the most beautiful fashion.

Ее били и истязали. Соседи заявили властям об этом. Девочку забрали в больницу, мать лишили прав на ребенка. До 4,5 лет девочка росла в государственном детском доме. Случилось чудо. Девочка много плакала. И ее забрала к себе в семью массажистка детского санатория, в котором Диана проходила реабилитацию. У Дианы были речевые нарушения и ей рекомендовали петь, чтоб убрать блоки с речи. Теперь мы имеем в активе самое неподражаемое контральто с прекрасной техникой владения голосом. Всем добра! I "discovered" Diana Ankudinova only a couple of weeks ago. I've listened to this song repeatedly! I love it. I've also watched the reaction videos. Thank you for your reaction. Yes, this is a competition among professional singers who have won other competitions. This is Diana's first adult competition, before that she won a lot of children's competitions and the last of them were "You are super" for children deprived of parental care. Diana has been living in a foster family for the last 15 years. To the wide musical community in Russia, and later in the world, she became known primarily thanks to KZfaq and where many of her performances have millions and even tens of millions of views. If you want to dig deeper, then I advise you first of all to watch her performances from the contest "You are super". The best in my opinion of her performances are "Rechenka", "Wicked Game", "Human". Although all her performances deserve attention. By the way, Diana won these competitions consisting of 9 rounds on the TV show. Moreover, the participants of the competition were judged mainly by themselves. Спасибо за вашу реакцию. Да, это соревнование среди профессиональных певцов, которые побеждали в других соревнованиях. У Дианы это первые взрослые соревнования, до этого она побеждала во множестве детских соревнованиях и последние из них были "Ты супер" для детей лишенных родительской опеки. Диана последние 15 лет живет в приемной семье. Широкой музыкальной общественности в России, а в последствии и в мире, она стала известна в первую очередь благодаря ютубу и где многие её выступления насчитывают миллионы и даже десятки миллионов просмотров. Если вы хотите копнуть глубже, то советую вам в первую очередь посмотреть именно её выступления с конкурса "Ты супер". Лучшие на мой взгляд её выступления это "Реченька", "Wiked Game", "Human". Хотя все её выступления заслуживают внимание. Кстати эти соревнования состоящие из 9 туров на ТВ-шоу Диана выиграла. Причем судили преимущественно сами участники соревнований.

Диана очень неординарная, в начале этой песни даже некоторых шокирует, дальше - восторг. Обратите внимание, что большинство коучей (преподавателей) вокала в своих роликах сначала шокируют началом, потом возвращают и воспроизводят эту песню с начала. Это исполнение переворачивает мозг с непривычки, поэтому надо успокоиться, вернуться и проникнуться. Так делают творческие люди, блогеры из любой страны, те, кто понимает сложность исполнения и хочет донести этот феномен до своей аудитории. Недавно мне попался ролик финки, коуча вокала. Она на финском языке говорила, комментируя исполнение Дианой этой песни. А я как в фильме "Особенности национальной охоты" почти всё понимал, хотя в финском языке - ни бельмеса.

I think that with respect to the criticism that she does not sing the entire melody but only the chorus, I find her strength there in this version of the E. Presley classic because what Diana does is an appropriation of a popular classical piece and transforms it from a minor key in an artistic creation, a great performance, a master piece from my point of view. She has worked on her range since and her top notes are well up. It is her passions that shine. Her "Rechenka" at 14 is a force of nature. "Wicked Game" at 15 is an explosion of passion. At 20, her "The day you" is just a thing of beauty. Not flashy but a mature work, her best yet.

With this "harpoon" Diana impresses almost everyone from the first seconds ... and attracts the listener, up to the last second of the performance ... And the spectator has only to "helplessly" allow her to pull herself out of the zone of the already familiar world vocal - into the zone of her element ... into the zone of Diana's musical tornado ...! And this "harpoon" is able to carry not only a man, but also a whale into Diana's element ...!!

Я была на ее концерте 24 сентября. Это что-то! Слезы сами текли из глаз. Меня поразила её самоотдача. Выкладывается по полной. Хороша, ничего не скажешь. И в живую смотрится моложе. Совсем девчонка. Мечтаю, чтобы снова попасть на ее концерт и испытать те же потрясающие Душу эмоции.

Brilliant commentary, enjoyed your video. Diana has a bit of a magical quality to her tone. It's a bit disorienting at first, but I've found that it ends up quite addicting and satisfying.

Wow! She puts layers of emotions in, just by her expanded voice. The first part sends chills down your spine. What a gripping, exciting takent! So many colors in just one word sung- beautifully amazing. Just saying " Spectacular and moving!" does not seem to do her performance justice.
