What makes her different from all the other contestants is she sings as though she's an established star and NOT someone competing in a competition. She's really grounded! Made me think of the Ed Sullivan Show years ago when singers would come out and sing with a mic and nothing else. The last point I want to make is the psychological effect the ending of this song has as it relates to the other 2 performances, which she ended somewhat quietly. The audience has been waiting for her to belt it out -- and she finally does. Such a smart approach to her performances.
