Is Jin's version actually online? It was only ever supposed to be on the CD 3 of the anthology album Proof. (and Jin is "only" the performer of "Yours" if I remember correctly)

@@ruthfischer7615 yes ‘Yours’ is Jin’s OST unlike the other boy’s OST for some reason Hybe did not promote it even once but it remained in the charts for many months especially in Japan where he is the most popular BTS vocalist and also has been in the Billboard Hot Trending charts top ten for 42 weeks now. This he has managed without any input from his own management which I think say’s something about him and his character and popularity as well as the song and his voice. His Epiphany demo can be heard on ‘You Tube’ although I also have the Proof Album. I love Blue and Grey because I think Jin and Jungkook harmonise really well as do Jimin and V. I think Jin is very much the underestimated singer of the group that is becoming more recognised even if his songs are not the more traditional ‘pop’ songs that the other three sing. They all have such amazing voices, I would also love to hear them harmonise more. 💜

@@alwenawillis8813 You sound a little... HYBE/Big Hit does not promote their outside projects ever. That is not unique. The people of the K-drama wrote the song with Jin in mind I believe and asked him for the performance which he did (the K-drama had more trouble as it had been overhyped or so people thought) Hot Trending means only that people drop the tag on twitter which his solo stans do actively even for other stuff and when they don't talk about the song. (that is also not unique) It just shows the power of Army but is a little faked. (also like the other tranding songs - power of fandom - and some new stuff - but fans push those, too - no surprise that the songs are rarely US American but most of the time Idol music). And Jin is not the most popular vocalist in Japan. Most of the time Taehyung and Jungkook fans claim their bias is the most liked by pointing out various success of theirs likebwinning polls. But you are right that a lot of people underestimate him (which he does himself, too - see Awake, Abyss or his first birthday live). He is equall 5% of BTS success.

I sound a little what? Bias! Thank you for your thoughtful message in educating me about Hybe. I never knew that Hybe did not promote outside projects ‘ever’! That indeed is unique, so am I to believe that ‘Christmas tree’ and ‘With you’ were inside projects both of which were promoted on their sites, well I never knew that, I will have to look into it, to see Hybe’s involvement with them. Yes, I did know that OST was written with Jin in mind and that the drama was not as popular as hoped, as are many dramas, including the two that Hybe were involved with apparently! Thank you for explaining the format of the Billboard Hot trending Songs to me also, which I was aware of. It always amazes me that Jin does not have as many fans as the popular Maknae line yet they have to be admired for their dedication in keeping him in the top ten for 42 weeks while the others have not stayed as long even with their superior following. That takes some doing! ‘Fake chart, Fake chart, could be a song there!’ V and Jungkook may be the most popular idols by as you say fan polls but the most popular vocalists are Jin and Jimin who sing in the style more popular in Japan. There is a difference! That is why Jin and Jimin are more featured in their Japanese songs. V and Jungkook will always win more fan polls as they have more fans that is logical. In a recent poll in Korea though Jin was voted ‘Idol of the year’ 2022, though so they don’t always win ALL the polls. Jin used to lack self confidence as the beautiful ‘Awake’ showed and ‘Abyss’ was when he was depressed and suffering from imposter syndrome after Hybe cut his part out of Dynamite and failed to tell him and he found out during their ‘live review’ of the song, (what a wonderful company). He has risen above that and bounced back with ‘Moon’ recognised by Rolling Stone as the 5th best Boyband song Ever and is highly praised for his live performances which are always spot on and his silver voice. I think he does not lack self confidence anymore. Like every single member he deserves his spot in BTS and if I sound bias then I am fine with that though I love all seven of them. My advice to you is to not assume that the person you are answering is ignorant of facts and patronise them. If I sounded ……then I must admit you sounded anti…………Stay safe and healthy.

I tried for gentle... possibly failed... as I'm feeling off a "little" (sorry)... but you use your "facts" as if I could not find simlar stuff about the others. Jin and Jimin have more lines in Japnese songs as the songs tend to be more balladic styles which both excel in and the interest in sounds that are more on the "feminin"/higher tone (which is where JK and V struggle with more; the same with Jin and Jimin struggling with the lower skale like "Blue & Grey") Popularity can be measured by polls if a lot of people are part of it - and birthday projects (well... they do need a lot of money - most seem to come from the Chinese fan clubs - which can make it questionable). There is a difference between who gets lines and whose lines/songs the fans appreciate more. And I'm quiet possibly influenced on what I read on twitter and allkpop - which are both toxic and can stretch facts a "little". No one - except idiots and those obsessed with some of the cliche of some of the older intro vids - do not see Jin's worth. And loosing lines? you do know that they all sing the whole song and than discuss line distribution among themselves? right? Can it happen that stuff is rearanged? yes... they struggled with Dynamite (English and the disco style - which does not really exist in SK)? that could mean a producer thought something else sounded better. (and we are also talking about the involvment of that American company that they left behind for a reason) That is normal and standard with every artist working in a group setting. I'm under the impression that you never looked into what the music creation process is from any labels standpoint. Few do. Picking on some facts does help but does not always make it more understandable and a new fact can destroy your assumptions fast - it happened to me and will happen to me again. Charts are always manipulated. The question is only how and who and what difference it makes and who is annoyed by it/possible changes it. (having it on a channel is not actually promotion - not to mention that there is a question of ownership - with you for example belongs to a different company - so I'd be surprised to find it on HYBE's channel - is it? I can't find it there) And I'm not sure about the second drama? which do you mean? Hwarang is actually successfull with international fans - but not in SK. And the second drama I heard about isn't out, yet - so I'm not sure what you mean. But the other are not trending that high and long... well with you is newer than "yours" (as are all the recent vocal line drops) and possibly not trending in the top 10 - well "with you" is but the fans have also other stuff to look into with them (like I said that chart is even more artificial than most). I also watched Taylor's Intro vids - multiple times. She went for a few known facts but there are so many more - "even" (he has lots) for Jin. And Jin's "imposter syndrom" - if it was that - has nothing to do with cut lines. He felt that way even for example in his first birthday live in 2013. Dynamite going to Number 1 in the biggest music market of the world hightened the pressure even more. Fans - of the group and the indivudual members - can worship them like unfailable gods. That that is a bit much can be seen for example in MV's (and lyrics) like "Interlude: Shadow". Jin spiraled. That happens when you are that successfull. Sad fact of life. He channeled that into creating a beautiful piece of music. And dropped "Super Tuna" a year later. Human life is complicated: mine - yours - and theirs, too. Even with all the stuff posted and said we do not see everything said and posted - or at least I don't - maybe you are better at that than I. ... where did you get the idea from that Jimin was ever supposed to be a rapper? I heard the BS rumor about Taehyung but never before about Jimin. Jimin wanted to be a singer. He auditioned as a dancer and asked to sit in to Taehyung's and JK's vocal lessons. In his trainee days he trained his voice till 4 a.m. before sleeping and waking at 6:30 for school. He came far too late to be considered for the rapline...

And It is in earlier BTS documentary, during Jimin & Suga’s famous car ride scene, where Suga was praising & talking about Jimin’s vocal. Also be careful of your words & try not to pick a fight! Pls, remember there always are some other BTS fans who knows more about BTS then you, so ask nicely if you have any doubts about new informations!
