This is a Nightwish song originally written during the Tarja era.. Floor's version with Nightwish at Waken 2013 is an epic masterpeice of belting. You should checkout Tarja's version from the End of an Era concert which is different from Floor's but equal amazing. Love both versions.

This is from her solo tour that she went on IndieGogo for and asked the fans if they were interested in financing the pro recording of her last show at AFAS in Amsterdam and I participated in this funding, but unfortunately COVID happened and it took almost a year for the show to finally happen last September, so as promised she recorded it, they have been editing it since and now she will release it song by song on her KZfaq channel each week and probably release the full show after. Judging by the first 2 videos published, the audio and video quality seems great, so very happy with my investment. 😀

Just for contrast you should check out her Nightwish performance of Everdream at Wacken 2013. It is no holds barred power and splendor. One of the highlights of the show. This was beautiful, but a bit subdued, I feel, because she wasn't about to try to cop a nightwish feel at her own show. She's obviously treating performing a Nightwish song with great respect.

I think the word you are looking for is ''crescendo" .. I love that she can cover Marko's vocal parts so well so that the people who don't know Nightwish are not aware that there were normally two voices in the song

You need to watch her latest release Face Your Demons from her After Forever days. It will blow your socks off.

For the record, when Nightwish does this song she performs every chorus in more of a mixed belt. She actually says it's their hardest song for her to sing (probably because of how consistently high the chorus melody is). I think she was wise to do it more in her head voice here. A full belt wouldn't have fit with the more intimate atmosphere they'd created.

This version of the song is really all about Floor. In the Nightwish versions, the band gives so much extra oomph to the song, this one feels a lot more personal, like a Ballard almost and is all about Floors voice (appropriate as it is her personal concert!)
