She is a storyteller. She always immersed herself into the music. In her live concert in California. She sang “Never love again” by Lady Gaga and she was crying while singing. This is queendom in a simple sense. Regine inspired a whole generation of talented singers in the Philippine industry. Regine's reach as a musician is insane, but she's rooted in her origin. She was also offered with lots of international brands/breakthrough, but she rejected them (I'm not too sure why, but I've read an article about it and it's about Regine's comfort as a singer; she's not very fond of performing outside PH or with foreigners...)

If you're a musical theatre buff you may want to listen to Regine and Martin Nievera singing a Broadway musical medley. It's part of the set list for their 2003 world tour concert series. IMO this performance showcases Regine and Martin at their prime.

I remember this was the 2nd night of her concert and wasnt fully 100% well. She was rushed to the hospital after of dehydration and fatigue. She was groomed by her parents musically starting at an early age. But her Dad was the biggest influence to her musical training of the dynamics, techniques and vocal control aspect. Trivia to this performance as this was the 2nd night of the 2-night concert. She was not supposed to sit whilst singing this song. The night before she sang this standing. But fans knowing her, she can be comfortable with less glamour thus she kicked off her shoes for this one and sat right down (well her legs are aching due to high heels). Yet she delivered more than what we expected!

Floor Jansen (Nightwish) is on a Dutch TV show called Beste Zangers where they sing the other performer's songs or songs special to the artist chosen for the week in their own style or twist. So far Floor has sung 3 songs. Vilja lied in German (opera), Mama in Dutch (contemporary?), Qué Se Siente in Spanish (salsa) all with a metal vibe. THEY WILL BLOW YOU AWAY.
