Yes, V is something special - saucy is a good word for him. One of many. He is so down to earth and sweet just like the face he makes in the Love Wins All MV when he eats the powdered donut. You should definitely listen to / react to his duet with IU from her show. The song is Ending Scene. He also has some covers that are worth listening to including Hug Me and Adele's Someone Like You. Inner Child, Scenery, Winter Bear, all classic V music. He also did a ton of live performances so I think its worth while to check out his One Take performance. He is so consistent with his live vocals with this album. Amazing.

You should check out Sweetnight, Winter bear, Christmas tree, Scenery, Singularity, Inner Child, and Stigma. He has got the widest vocal range of BTS. His voice is so rich, sweet like honey, and deep like his soul. His voice is my favorite of all of them. It’s a warm, cozy, comfortable feeling in a winter night. It’s the calming waves in the beach that relaxingly enchant my soul enveloping me like a cool summer breeze. His talking voice mesmerizes me too. His charm, personality, and charisma is very unique. He is known for being different and an out of the box thinker. V is somewhat eccentric and is fascinating to watch. Taehyung is titled as the IDOL of idols, the Stage King, and The Treasure of Korea, and DIAMOND Voice of Korea, among other titles😅 including his visuals. He takes his reputation as a performer and singer to heart. His natural acting ability comes to life with every performance. He is very meticulous about what he presents to his fans. He truly was meant to be an artist. Like the rest of the BTS members he is not a one trick pony. I hope you can dive into the many sides of V. The Vlog DRIVE, the VICNIC, and all his live performances for this EP, are just something’s you could check out to get a glimpse of who he is. The “ending fairy” is a thing in kpop performances-where the camera zooms in on a member of the group to close out the performance. Usually the artist is trying to look hot and gorgeous while recovering their breath and sweating after singing and dancing. A lot of the older generation idols make a big joke of the ending fairy, and Tae’s veer wildly between seductive and hilarious 😂 look up compilation videos of “ending fairy” and “V” and feast your eyes or laugh your butt off. Loved your reaction. I particularly like knowing the anatomy behind those amazing and evocative and emotive sounds these people can make to make us feel something. Your reactions are super detailed and I appreciate them!

“It’s like he was sings just for you” this is my feeling always when Taehyung is singing. His voice has a special touch of sensuality and intimacy very unique. I don’t know anything about vocal technique , I only know how I feel when I hear him sing how Taehyung reaches my heart and touches my soul. "Saucy" is such a good word for him, haha. I've also heard him described as "impish" and that fits sometimes, but he's also quite sweet and very very very enthusiastic about the music he loves. He's incredibly creative in surprising ways and totally willing to get up to all kinds of shenanigans when the opportunity arises. His guest appearance on IU's "Palette" is really good and he does a duet with her there. I love watching and listening to him.

You totally need to do all five MVs in a row. You can do it at once because they are short. V made his album a work of art IMO with the continued MV story and such large addition of music to each song. All together it's mesmerizing!

Ughhhh this performance never fails to give butterflies! I’m right there with you! For Us is a masterpiece and it being performed live is a million times better, it’s just perfection!! 😭😭💕 He also performed this one on Music Bank alongside Slow Dancing! He has quite a few other live performances (MCountdown, Inkigayo, Music Bank, NPOP & IU’s palette which I recommend watching the whole episode to hear his talking voice more) from his Layover album that you should definitely check out!!

TAEHYUNG TINY DESK is a master piece, i used to hear it all the nights or while im coming back home, it is so healing, his voice, the REAL instruments playing by REAL genious musicians... everything is out of this time, it is a pleassure for the senses... Only Taehyung could bring this art to us. I hope more ppl could enjoy this amazing album, sadly it wasnt ww promoted, like his members fellows albums, that were promoted world wide.

LOve this reaction, Tae is amazing! For Jimin - I think you'd love his song Like Crazy, he's performed it live several times so you could watch a performance to hear the original song, and then he sang live a slowed down, re-arranged acoustic version for Lee Mujin's Service which is a KZfaq show he did. You can find it just by typing 'Lee Mujin Jimin'. They also performed a duet together if you want to watch the other performances from the show! Jazz vibes ✨

I absolutely love your reviews; you should check our V's band sessions; they're only 2 songs but I'm sure you'll love them. You do not need to react on them :) also his one-take session in Japan. It's pretty interesting to see how he can sing live in one-take sounding like a recording. The guy ate his own album, all his live shows during his album release (last September) gave that feeling lol

Thank you for these analysis. Please if you really like these performances, listen to the album LAYOVER. It is absolutely delicious and although this tiny desk was intended by Tae to be more jazzy, the album is very jazzy too. No catchy flashy song for the main stream music, but a coherent album with songs that are different from each others, yet so harmonious together. It’s just a vibe, HIS vibe that he finally was able to show to his fans. He also gifted us with so many live performances of all the songs of the album and all of them are perfection. I am really so thankful for this album. Tae’s voice made me discover BTS at 42, 5 years ago when I didn’t even know there was something called K-pop, I would have loved anything he makes for us but I am happy he went with what he really loves and didn’t stop himself for charts considerations and it paid off. The album is a huge success. In general I love the fact that all the guys gave us the music each one of them loves, and we found ourselves with 6 very different albums and yet the six, (soon seven ) are so interesting. As my musician and jazz lover son said it’s amazing that Tae is able the bring so many fans to this genre. Anyway thank you for this reaction, I enjoyed every minute 💜

This was such an enjoyable reaction, I watched it more than once! For Jimin, I highly recommend a song called "Letter," which is a song he wrote as a goodbye to army before going off for military service. It's a hidden track on his album, but there are lyric videos you can watch. He also did a live version once.

Late to the party, aren't I? Loved your reaction!! I don't know if anyone else has commented on this, but a few years back, in an interview with The Mess, when BTS was asked who their favorite artists were at the moment, V named Daniel Ceasar! You really can't go wrong with any Jimin song, and he does do a range of styles. It's an old one, but I like Lie very much.

It is so good to see you - a professional - gushing over V's voice. Now imagine this: in KPop when you are a baritone, you usually are designated to be a rapper, if you like it or not. Tae and JHope had been given a choice and JHope wanted to be a rapper more than a singer and that saved Tae from becoming a rapper only (though he can rap). The company (and also part of the fandom) consider him a 'sub vocal'. He and Jin have the least lines in the vocal line but their voices are used to butter up and support. So Taehyung made the best of it, and he took singing lesson to use his higher register because KPop is about high tenor and falsetto voices. Check out his live performances of Stigma and Singularity, and also the band sessions of the three songs from tiny desk as well as the F1RST TAKE Japan recording - 1 mic, 1 try.

This is my fave song from his album too Sam, I love how he has his own completely different, jazzy vibe - in fact the only complaint I had about Layover was that the songs were way too short- he just wasn't singing enough! Would love you to react to his earlier solo songs too, Winter Bear, Scenery & Sweet Night (OST song for a kdrama starring one of his best friends) in particular. For Jimin, my favourite older solo song is Lie, also Filter, then from his album Set Me Free Pt 2, Like Crazy & the gorgeous hidden track Letter (also called Dear Army) on which Jk did some backing vocals. But before that PLEASE can you react to Dimash's MV for When I've Got You?! I know you already did the filmed live version, on which he was a bit drowned by the live music, but here you can hear all those runs & that gritty bit in all their glory...with the added bonus of him playing a sexy vampire! 😁🥵What's not to love?! 😆🤪Thanks ☺

I love how you got vocal aggression after hearing first note from Tae 😂 his voice is so smooth and beautiful so I get you haha as for Jimin he has so many good live performances from his solo album, but my fave are definitely "Dear army" live clip, "Set me free pt.2" on inkigayo and "Like Crazy" live on KBS Kpop with Lee Mujin

I have thoroughly enjoyed binge watching your BTS reactions, hearing your expertise on our wonderful seven's vocal techniques has been excellent! Just a tiny fyi, around 95% of BTS videos have English subtitles, click the little CC button on the bottom right of the video or choose the settings cog next to it and select English, don't select auto generated English unless you want pure insanity. For Jimin, i'd love for you to react to "like crazy" (there are live performance videos, i especially like the slowed down, re-arranged acoustic version for Lee Mujin's Service) and "serendipity" (there are also live performance videos). i wish he had a live performance of "alone" but i'm pretty sure there aren't (it's my fav song). thanks for all you do, i look forward to your reaction!! :)

I can see how times have change! I remember when you were under jimin's enchant.... You could not see him in the videos without smiling. Now you have fallen under Tae's deep rich voice. As of Jimin, I still think "LIE" is his best. If you like V vibe, try Sweet Night, Winter Bear, Scenery, Stigma, Inna Child, Christmas tree, Snow Flower. He also made cover of Someone Like You.
