As a Filipino, watching/listening to Tara sing Tagalog lyrics is quite impressive. Girl, you don't even have to worry if you're butchering the singer's/song's name too, you're nailing it right on!

Having played bass for Lani M. many times in my career, I can attest to her down-to-earth humility. She has the distinction of being the only Filipino artist to break into the Las Vegas strip entertainment scene and was voted Best Singer in 2008. In 2009, Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman proclaimed December 4 as "Lani Misalucha Day" in the city. Tara to me, is the best vocal coach on KZfaq. The song literally means "I will love you tomorrow". It's a tragic love song of finding your true love, your soulmate but the timing is wrong. They are already both in a committed loving relationship. And decides that they will not be selfish. Here, the woman sings about what ifs, the tragedy of meeting too late and hoping/promising to love the man in the next life.

Lani was singing about two people falling in love when they are already in their respective relationships. Hence, she sang that she will love him tomorrow/in the future when their hearts are already free/r. Lani has also done Las Vegas residency.

It is amazing to see how much power and fullness she has even on her quiet sounds. Tara used to word decadent and I feel like that perfectly encapsulates what I am trying to describe. Then the diction. It is so crystal clear. I can't speak the language at all, but I can clearly understand each individual sound. This is a masterful performance to say the least. It is so impressive hearing the polarity between her "small" notes and big notes. Now that I am done fan boying, Tara I am back again to request that you react to Tank and the Bangas Tiny Desk Concert on NPR. They are one of those groups that deserves more acclaim then they have in my opinion.
