I've loved this song the moment I heard it ! She is a great singer and can do anything with her voice. It stays natural, easy, effortless as if she doesn't even have to take any breaths. The text is great too and really reflects what she is feeling - beautiful !!!!

Her tone conveys earnest emotion and the lyrics are so clear in meaning and context. This version with the band’s sultry backup makes her voice pop even more. Ive listened to this dozens of times. Echoes of Cowboy Junkies band

LP has been my favorite artist for over a year. She is my play track. Her Mother was an opera singer before she passed away. LP had no plans to sing but it in her DNA. I love her and your reaction. @iamlpofficial .

I discovered LP last year by accident, with this song, and it blew me away. I started to listen to other songs, and she does not disappoint. You don't just hear her songs...you feel the, it takes a special kind of artist to achieve that. Switchblade, and Muddy waters are also personal favorites of mine.

I started laughing when you mentioned the egg shaker! It's a lot harder to keep it steady and even than it looks!

Interesting, I like it. Love how Beth exposes us to so many great singers. Hope some day Beth will expose many of you to the truly greatest singer out there, Rachelle Ferrell, nobody even close. I Can Explain whether from a live concert or her live studio version where she just goes off, it will change everybody's understanding of what a singer can do.

LP,,,nunca la había escuchado... bonito tono y hermoso vibrato...Su tono de voz se parece mucho al de Carla Morrison.Le invito a que la escuché porque es tremenda compositora y cantante con un timbre de voz bastante parecido a esta joven cantautora.La banda suena muy afinada y simple.Ella es genial... hermoso su tono y el sentimiento además de q puede alcanzar notas muy altas y mantener su vibrato único... WOW! ...just...just...I mean...come on! Edit: I literally was ready for bed, when I realized, I left my headphones in my car. So I dressed again, went three floors down, took a walk in the cold rain to get them, three floors up again, with the joy of anticipation growing with each step. Cos now I can fall asleep to this voice. Life's great.
