Wow! The demo at the end, after having level-matched the the track's volume pre and post plugins, is impressive: At the same volume, the post-plugin version sounds markedly louder and clearer! Quick comment: The best thing about your videos is you explain the PRINCIPLES behind what you do. If I hadn't seen your other videos on vocals, even thinking about having 10 plugins on a voice track would have bewildered me. But I'm getting it: It's understanding WHY a track needs processing and WHY a certain plugin at certain settings will achieve the needed result. This is starting to come together in a wholistic way! Thank you again!

This was really well done. At first I was skeptical about 10 inserts 😂 but you worked it out. You really do explain the principles and processes better than many of the so called veterans in the KZfaq space. Most likely because you are not trying to sell us gear and plugins so the area of focus is precise. Unfortunately I have lost all interest in the audio realm of KZfaq, but your channel is a bright spot in the abyss. Curious to know if you mix hybrid or soley in the box?

Currently I'm %100 in the box. And I don't think 10 inserts is ideal, but I wanted to show that there's nothing wrong with it. You gotta do what you gotta do. If you're working with high end plugins then 10 wouldn't be necessary. Anyway, thank you very much! Glad you're enjoying the videos.

Why use the nova eq and not the stock pro eq with dynamics? Brilliant explanation of the chain by the way. I will be experimenting with a vocal chain and getting the OTT that looks amazing Thanks so much for sharing your expertise

Nova allows for specific attack/release/ratio control, so I prefer it sometimes. Thanks!
