MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Welcome back to Creativity With Chris!
I've got another music reaction coming at you today on the Creative Channel and this one is Voctave's "Mary Did You Know" featuring Mark Lowry, the songwriter! I LOVE THIS ARRANGEMENT SOOOO MUCH!! It's gorgeous, the message is beautiful, the harmonies are flawless, ugh! I hope you enjoy it, and as always, thanks for watching! :)

Kate's control and perfect touch of vibrato at the end of her long tones...sigh....❤

That "echo" section in the middle is like a "Mary, Did You Know?" waterfall. It gets me every time. This version with Mark is so different than anyone else's, perhaps because Mark interprets it differently being the composer/writer. I love it and listen to it throughout the year on occasion. And Kate's final note, I've said it before and I'll say it again, is the greatest example of vocal control I've ever heard. Most sopranos would be increasing volume and forcing that note because it's so high but she does it softly, like she's just touching it while sustaining it and then adding her vibrato at the end. Her face is so relaxed. Excellent rendition. Thanks for the reaction! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.

I don't know how many different people I've heard sing this. Mark almost makes you feel like he's sitting with Mary when he sings it. This one is second only to him singing with the Gaiters. Grandma loved old Jake.

I love how long he held his notes. Especially because he’s sitting! He has ms I believe, which is why he’s sitting

hearing Mark perform the song he wrote and the way he puts emotion into it (plus his amazing voice) always gives me chills

Wouldn't it be amazing if Kate Lott joined Home Free for a song? With she and Tim on opposite ends of the spectrum and the rest of the guys filling in the rest, it would really do something to the ears!

Since no one can compete with this stunning version of this song I'll offer a crazy little song by VoicePlay for the holidays: "Mission: Jingle Bells". Imagine if you can, Mission Impossible and Jingle Bells. It's fun and very well done.

This is my favorite version ever. I cry every time. His amazing baritone and then the high soprano just make it. What was her last high note?!?!? Was that a C7?

A channel by the name of "Sam Robson" has done 3 highly well made accapella covers of songs from "The Prince of Egypt" Once your done with the Christmas videos I highly recommend you react to them, or just watch the videos in your own time. Awesome job and keep up the great work :D
