I've watched dozens and dozens of reactions to this performance, and _nobody-_ and I mean *nobody-* dares make even a sound at the end of this. Most people don't even breathe. Any other singer would have done _something_ all the way to the end. But not Dimash. He'd pleaded for the final time at the apex of the song, his voice breaking in despair. Then he hums through quiet, mournful acceptance, and finally has to turn away from the receding image of his lover and just let the song breathe... just masterful.

"Ikanaide" is the Japanese version of the Chinese song "Autumn Strong" which Dimash sang in the 2017 Chinese show "Singer" which he sang in Chinese. This version Dimash sings in Japanese. The translations are different but the true story is basically about Yoshiko Yamaguchi a Chinese born Japanese actress who went by the name Li XIanglan. After WWII when her true lineage was revealed she was deported back to Japan never to return to her beloved China. Both of Dimash's performances and interpretation are very heartfelt and emotional.

This song is the Japanese version of AUTUMN STRONG it talks about of Yoshiko Yamaguchi it's a woman who left Japan to live in China, this happened during WW2(World War 2) she was known as the Judy Garland of China. She changed her name to a Chinese name. She became famous in China and the Chinese people loved her not knowing her identity. After WORLD WAR 2 her identity was revealed and she was sent back to Japan never to see China again.
