I'm a new subscriber & a huge fan of Sia. I saw her perform a few feet away, around 11 yrs ago at the San Diego House of Blues. She hadn't exploded yet & she was even more impressive in person. I heard it was because she was self-conscious about her Graves' Disease which can bulge your eyes and give you an enlarged thyroid or goiter.

Her album Some People Have Real Problems is amazing too even it's underrated because some people nowadays think that 1000 Forms of Fear is her Debut Album but she had her old songs that like a GOLD. There's nothing wrong with her new songs but her old songs are BEAUTIFUL TOO 😍

she does the same thing near the end of breathe me in the kcrw performances, vocally matching the instruments flawlessly which takes an incredible amount of technical skill and control to pull off… remember listening to that performance as a kid on KZfaq and my cousin who’s a vocal coach in nyc overheard it and asked who that was and said that there’s probably only a handful of people in the world who could vocally match instrumentals to such a flawless and pitch perfect degree that way.
