Fun lore you could use in these: According to the legends book Kenobi (and a few other things): The “Ben” name, was given to Obi-Wan by Satine. It was kind of an endearing thing, she only called him Ben privately. In Master & Apprentice, the final piece that stabilized Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan’s then shaky relationship, was Qui-Gon turning down council membership to continue to train Obi-Wan.
