I feel like this is true for most centipedes and insects in general. Every fears them but 90% of them are only ever just vibing and will rarely bother you if you don't bother them.

I like how in this game, there are balls of light that will obliterate your limbs and organs off your body, but the kaiju-sized centipede is completely harmless and only wants to munch on some pumpkins.

What a cute comically large centipede fellow Wolfgang is actually one of the only entities i've encountered in VOTV, other than catching a few glimpses of wisps beyond the fence, i got a little spooked when i found him, as i couldnt pause or save and i hadn't seen any videos on him so i didn't know if he was hostile or not, thankfully he wasnt and i got to screw around with him a bit, I dropped my only MRE i brought with me to see how he'd react and he absolutely bolted towards that mre and made it disappear in .3 seconds, was really fun to see the big guy around but i had to go back to base as i had extremely low sleep and food. I also encountered argemwell on my way to find him

My favorite Wolfgang clip was a streamer (Tomato Gaming) who encountered him, jumped on his back and hooked on using the bungee cord, at which part the chat started screaming “SHAI-HULUD” and “Desert Power!”

I believe he is an Easter egg; he appears only when you throw a pumpkin near the cave. He's friendly and will seek out and consume any nearby pumpkins.

first of........ off? i dont do english good anywho wolfgang spawned outside my base day 4 without any pumpkins (only discovered that part in the wiki like yesterday) out of nowhere it was so spooky bec i was woken up out of nowhere, couldnt save, went to radar and there was 32 entities bruh ;-; yknow whats worse? i was so tired (less than 7 stamina) that i couldnt run, i tried to walk to him but by the time i got out by the garage he was gone like he was never even there ALSO ALSO i made a new save for reasons, day 3, it started raining, then my radar picked a entity close to base, at the time i was doing the new woodchiper infinite money glitch so i already got a digital camera without doing any signals, and so i picked it and went to the entity to try and take a pick, the game said the camera is used for paranormal viewing etc went to it and founda moving fog -_- literaly teleporting sauna ass fog, the digital camera pictures revealed nothing out of the ordinary, just your normal super sayajin instant transmision sauna ass like fog i forgot about it and then got jumpscared because it entered my garage while i was being distracted by watching spamatic banana videos on my tv lmao anyway thats it bye i just wanted to report this to someone now that i am satisfied ima go watch some jfj and neocranium videos before going back to the woodchiper money grind while listening to pleasure time from evenicle....... love me some ol ptsd :D #yippehoraymoment
