I have the CF barrel in .22 by Volquartsen on my takedown with x-22 backpacker stock all in black...suoer lite, love it. Good video 👍

I bought my Volquartsen Superlite from gun city and it is very accurate. It shoots Hornady VMax with no problems and the other day I put a 3 hot group at .25 of an inch at 146 yards. It's also good with Remington bullets and can handle Winchester SuperX as well as many others. It is an expensive rifle but you get what you pay for. I must say do not shoot in any breezy conditions or you will be disappointed with any 22 Magnum. Richie

Yeah, muzzle creep is a huge problem in most 22 caliber rifles, I think most people have given the choice would choose break over silencer. The guy knows exactly what he is talking about and totally isnt just talking to talk at all! Holy smokes!

Sorry to hear it's affected you so deeply! We reckon either a Silencer or a Brake would be great on this rifle. Always good to have options and do our bit to help educate new shooters! - JK

@@guncitynewzealand just a way of pointing out that sometimes saying less is more.. It doesnt need to sound like an infomercial. It distracted me from the info a bit. And was just pointing out that it’s silly to ask “who likes silencers over breaks?” The answer is everyone.. if they had a choice, and that breaks on .22LRs is almost pointless for most but i could be wrong. I’m just a American not a Olympic gold medalist

Or you could get the Volquartsen VT2 which comes with both the .17 HMR and .22 WMR barrels.

Can you also make a video on the 12" Charger barrel. Fire it through a chronograph with CCI SV & Tac 22 ammo. There's two versions on with threads and one w/o. Looks like an awsome Volquartsen barrel.

Does this have the same action dimensions as a standard 10/22? Am assuming so as on the hogue website they only make a stock with standard barrel channel for the Ruger 10/22 wmr, unless these are made especially for VQ

Very cool rifle. I noticed behind the trigger that there was a small, green button. What's that for?

It's a set screw. It prevents the trigger from traveling farther back than is required.
