@CA3iR0 back in 1998... my dad had an accident with his Volvo 360. Driving on a highway, drifted (heavy rain) and fell in to a small gorge... car was a total loss and my dad walked out without a single scratch...even the windows wasn't broken (cracked mostly)... thnx to Volvo for saving my dad's life.. now I'm driving 1990 Volvo 740 GLE. Volvo For Life!!!

Shahrul Amin Azman simular story with my mom, in the late 80’s or early 90’s she was in an old Volvo wagon (doesn’t remember the model) but she was Hit by someone on the drivers door by a big truck and she only had a dislocated hip, doctors say that if she hadn’t been in a car able to survive a side impact, she would have been paralyzed if not dead, so thank you volvo. I happily have a 2000 s80 now and love it to bits, and am confident that it will protect me the best it can.

Another thing....if you get your volvo up on a lift and look underneath it....the thickness and quality of the steel used in these cars is excellent. I have a 21 year old Volvo V70 Gen1 on the driveway, I use it as my backup car (I'm a mechanic) and the solidity of the steel even after 20 years is so impressive.

nothing like the swedish steel used in volvos. and so much thicker too!

I have a 25-YEAR-OLD Toyota I use as an "Everyday" car that has covered 231,000 Miles.. It was Ziebart protected from brand-new and was garaged by its first owner for the first 17 Years of its life. Probably why it has survived so long. And yes I can confirm the reliability of this late 1990s Toyota is first class. The 7A-FE 1.8 Litre 4 Cylinder engine is one of the best petrol engines ever made. Cambelt driven I know... But they can be changed in around 2 Hours 30 Minutes with the water pump.

Why is it that people overseas can make such good, creative commercials? Not saying that US advertisers aren't capable of it, but all the foreign commercials (or most of them ) I've seen are really good.
