Volvo 2254 4WD master cylinders are shot, the most difficult removal and replacement of master cylinders I have ever done. The repairs were easy but 14 hours of bending into the smallest compartment is not good for the back. I need to get back into the forest so we have to succeed.

Shipping and authoritarian restrictions are some of the worst in the world, they rank alongside our tax rate. However, it keeps most of the riffraff away so not sure I am complaining that much if you know what I mean.

@@arctic-rebel I agree 100% with you. I wish the U.S. would tighten up on restrictions but were to dumb and greedy here. We have so many invasive plants, insects, etc..to name a couple. Thank you sir and have a blessed day.

I can really feel the back and everything else hurts. I've done plenty of such jobs to know. Sometimes you wanna flip the whole tractor over just to get a decent position. Then add thousands of midgets coming for a marvelous dinner party while your hands are occupied. Anyway,, good job sir!👌 Happy for you. Tractor without brakes are a nightmare. Stay safe mate😊

Thanks Anders, you really have done such jobs before. The only good thing about smoking is it keeps the midgets off the face! Nightmare over for this tractor. Have a great day

Oh Yes it is a big job you just done Simon, i agree. Sometimes the People Who constructed the truck has place the parts in a bad place for us mechanics. Now you can use the old lady again. Keep on the good management❤ mayby next job is the valve adjustment? Big hug from Denmark

A happy ending! Successful repair and you were smiling. I easily get frustrated doing difficult repairs because the lack of access doesn't have to happen. Products are engineered and the repair of serviceable components could be made simple. Unfortunately we mechanical types have done way more hard fixes than easy ones. It made me laugh when you thought installation would be an hour.

Slended job my friend. Its probably a good thing that the tractor is older when repairs like that happen. Most things on newer equipment are non repairable or rebuildable and new must be purchased from a dealer or other source, costing even more money and downtime. Im glad your backup and running safely. Hope you get lots of rest and continue to get things accomplished. Thanks for sharing and we'll see you down the road..... Does the breaks self adjust in reverse or is that needed? Good bless my friends. Hello Sara 👋
@arctic-rebel

Thanks Paul, I have to guess the brakes self adjust because there is nothing written on how to adjust them other than the parking brake which is a 1/2" nut.
