That was a proper movie. There was setup, comedy, drama, and weiner jokes. Haha He said erection 3 too many times this vid. 😂 Man, that system is COMPLICATED. Once that puzzle piece looking christmas tree thing with the pumps came on screen, I was like, oh noooooo. Even Tails looked worried on this one! Pretty cool of BixBit to offer a technician to come out tho. Pretty good customer support right there.

toooooooooo complicated. future headaches. why can't I simply install a 500 gallon water tank 6 feet below ground with radiator in it and dumb 12v circulate the oil. wouldn't the ground geothermal heat sink dissipate any heat?

Love Chinese pipe fittings. I had some where they went to deep with the pipe thread, causing loose connections. Others are supposed to be Imperial measure 1" (which is 25.4 mm) but they were marked 1" but actually 25 mm.

Plumbing Thread wrapping needs to be uniform for pressure stabilisation. Its the first pressure defense barrier.

You could try replacing the fittings with pvc at the leak points. The plastic can seal up those weird leaks sometimes

vfd is a variable frequency drive, doesn't modulate power, it modulates the frequency

could you tell us about the pump which is used to transfer the oil and water and its specification? how about it's replacement when it's fail.

The seal cord is supposed to go in the groves of the threads. Don't nilly willy spool lit on. It has to be clean and precisely placed in the groves from top, around, around, and around following the thread pattern. Don't cross over threads (you will just create pressure gaps) it will not hold pressure..

@@VoskCoin i would rather ask why throw out a valuble waste product like heat.. producing heat is not free and i can come up with lots of uses that makes or saves money.. lots of products need heat to be made for example, heat is worth atleast the same as electricity if used correct.. greenhouses for example can convert heat into money in most climates you say it´s cold and you have anuff heat to supply a village 😉 start drying some products for the local farmes, they spend alot of energy on drying... wood also needs to get dried for lots of uses

air cooling is cheap and dumb. very profitable and less headache. this install was a disaster and will be a disaster in the future. these connections SUCK! I install lawn sprinkler as a seasoned landscape contractor and zero problems over an acre of property with hundreds of shitty plastic manifolds with o rings and simple stainless crimp bands around Chinese plastic barbed connectors. no need for all this complexity.

Do you have a liquid level sensor for the tank, as a way to remotely be alerted if the level starts getting low? Also, do you have a way to measure the BixBit separately from the miners? If you can do that on all the different deployments that would be very helpful. Im a believer that savings in OpEx are better than savings in CapEx. I would rather pay more initially to save on recurring expenses.

VFD's are expensive to replace I would look into surge protection, and when you go 3 phase get a phase monitor

Years back, I advised against ANY system with pipes and extra complications! That system has been running nonstop since then. Getting TRUE professional EXPERTS to do it is half of the battle. (The kind that Can not only read, but make the electric diagram. Engineer vs Electrician). How much power are you really saving? Few hundred watts? Do let us know the reliability compared to the cost…

We could’ve and that’s definitely easier to say in hindsight! But when we were in the thick of it, we really thought we almost had it. Plus this is advertised as an easy-to-assemble unit so we wanted to document the steps.
