Vent holes for the plate amp. They do not open to the speaker chamber.

Was that your own idea, or did you read that in the instructions somewhere?

My idea. I figured I might try it on this small amp plate to see if it was practical to use on a higher powered one that does generate heat on a future build.

Had anyone try Voxel with other speaker brands other than this?

I've used it with 3 different bookshelves speakers. GR-Research X-LS Encores, Dynamites by Soundblab, and Mark Audio CHR-40. Mixed through a Topping MX3 2.1 amp. Really good results in nearfield listening(Computer Work station). Good bass for a small box.
