recently i learnt that the poppet valve needs to be at A position on older engines to stop over reving ,it seems to work for me I think the difference is a bigger ridge on back of valve I was worried when tou ran it on the tabl;e

On the first repair without pulling the carby apart, the revs was fine and after the second repair when someone lost the control spring (long spring), I positioned the poppet valve to "C" thinking would be the same with 160cc engines. This is a 125cc and it's overreving as what you see and also found out that the best poppet valve setting is letter "B". There is no much information on the Web regarding poppet valve settings. There are three different types of poppet valve that I knew of so I will making video experimenting and demonstrating all different settings of poppet valve and how does it affect the engine revs and understanding the physical differences. Hey Varietech, I recently rebuilt my carby on my vista utility. I put it on gave it a couple pulls then it starts only for a bit though. After that it won’t start, would you by any chance know why?

Try to start the engine with the fuel tank cap removed or slightly loose.

No. He always called this large machine as "Mega" because for him, it's huge for his size compared to Trimmers we are working on.
