I believe the shell is auto loaded but the propellant is done manually.

The shell is loaded automatically, the propellant is a much harder, because these use Fully Combustible Propellant Charges(FCPC). Because of the inherent fragile nature of these FCPCs you cannot autoload the charges, good thing is that these charges are significantly lighter than the rounds and can be loaded just as fast by a human loader and with significantly lower risk of damaging the charges than an autoloader. The reason for using FCPCs over a conventional shell, is to increase firing rate, by not having anything left to extract(a brass case) you can instantly insert a new shell after opening the breach, it also means no need to collect the spent brass to either reuse, or recycle. Work is / was being done on semi combustible propellant charges(SCPC), but as far as I know not in active service yet in an autoloaded vehicle. These SCPCs do come with their own disadvantages and it's for individual countries to decide if the risk of a wounded crew member is worth giving up on all the advantages that FCPCs have over non FCPC counterparts.

If you were paying attention is that the loader is pulling a certain "gun ready" lever after putting in the gunpowder charges. So really it's safe but she's doing it so quick that it seems the whole process is automatic (besides the autoloader) and requires a quick hand to load it safely.

She puts in the ammo then pulls the lever after her hand is out.
