German PzH 2000, 155mm self-propelled howitzers assigned to the 131st Artillery Battalion, conduct fire missions during Exercise Dynamic Front II at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany on March 7, 2017. Dynamic Front is an artillery operability exercise and focuses on developing solutions within theater level fire systems by executing multi-echelon fires and testing interoperability at the tactical level. It includes nearly 1,400 participants from nine NATO nations.

it's an Mg3 mg42 is no more in service because it requires 7.92mm bullet but the mg3 is degraded to 7.62

Even during retreat, the Werhmacht in WWII were able to inflict 30% more casualties against their opponents than were inflicted on them. (MAX Hastings) time and time again, s scratch unit of a sargeant and a few soldiers with an 88mm would be tasked with setting up a blocking unit to allow th4 main unit to retreat and would cause US/allied forces to halt until fire artillery or air strikes could eliminate them. That's real leadership and discipline even in retreat.

That's actually not surprising. The defender always has the advantage. It's the same in Ukraine right now. Despite being outgunned, the Ukrainians have fewer casualties.

Als ich damals beim Bund war, haben sie die PzH2000 leider gerade erst eingeführt. Ich durfte leider nicht mehr daran schrauben. Aber dafür am M109 Schrotthaufen, oder dem tollen Leopard 2. War ne verdammt geile Zeit. 4.Inst3 Rothenburg /Wümme - leider aufgelöst, soweit ich weiß.

YES, The guestauf! That thing was on rails and required , I think 1500 men to operate it. I was watching some afganistan artillary vidoe and it sounded realy cool when they fired a 155 I THINK. When they fired it you could hear it JUST RIPPING THE Air. Like the passage of the shell was tearing the molicules in the air appart. A very strange noise like a loud wispering. God help the guys on the other end. Very cool SIR!!@@dunklerrattenkobold1997

they are not shooting bursts Ukrainians love them they say its the most advanced and powerful artillery they have. They have been firing them so much that they are physically worn out and need refurbishment.
