Lol look at Golf inside shoot at the beginning, sometimes you can see the scirocco dash, vents and cluster, and then it's golf back again

1:19 is a Scirocco and same at 1:50 with the dashboard. The R Model VW’s have blue needles and not red ones and also have a higher redline than 6000RPM. I have a Scirocco and the dash is identical, sorry but thats poor editing from Fifth Gear

Seat have the know how to develop top driving cars through there Touring Car influence. For marketing purposes VaG would never let Seat build a car that's faster than a Golf GTi/ R.

@@superthierry1 yet, the Cupra R 1M (2004) was both faster than the stronger Golf R32 and the Audi S3. The current Cupra 5F is also faster than the Golf R and S3, the Cupra ST Estate actually beat the Audi RS6 on the Nürburgring.

@@gabrielvanya8245 VW will always be superior from a marketing perspective but the Cupra R set the record at the Nurburg Ring highlighting their touring car experience.

Don't they both look very uncomfortable on that track?! I remember watching this at the time. How things have come along. Poor tyres or poor chassis made them both look very 'wallowey' and understeer crazy cars!
