2013 TDI owner here. Nice review but one mistake. No backup camera on my model. I am at 118K and getting ready for the pricey timing belt change at 120K. Any suggestions for independent mechanism in Memphis area? Thanks.

Would you still consider this model with Turbo Diesel engine a good purchase? I have the opportunity to buy one with 13,000 original miles and I really would like to pull the trigger, but I hear so much negative talk about Volkswagen, that it’s making me hesitate a bit.
