I wonder what a modern version of a VW Kublewagen with Front wheel drive and portal axle setup and torsion bar suspension could achieve with modern water cooled 4 cyl engine and really good ground clearance. If VW could use common parts with high production models with a few suspension add on parts they could have a really fun cheap All terrain Travel recreation vehicle.

Bravi,complimenti.Poichè sono appassionato di ferrovie e anche di veicoli fuoristrada gradirei sapere su quale linea avete circolato,per poterla visitare. Io possiedo una Jeep Mahindra CJ4 Diesel e la modifica da Voi apportata alla Kubel mi interessa per poterne fare una simile alla mia Jeep. Cordiali saluti

Ist das die Vinschgerbahn? Von 1990 bis 2005 war die Bahn ja nicht in Betrieb und die Aufnahmen entstanden laut Beschreibung vom Jahr 2003.

Ein wenig umgebaut und schon kann jedes Fahrzeug auf schienen fahren, nur macht das wenig Sinn. Autobahnen und Straßen sind für KFZ´s effektiver als mit dem Auto auf Schienen zu fahren.

This was during the renovation works along the Vinschgerbahn, wich was repristened after many years of inactivity, in 2004. I live there, in Vinschgau.
