looks good in the process of buying some parts for my AXD what would it set £ me back to have you map it once i've decided what turbo to fit "AXE or AXE hybrid"

Hi, what’s the black smoke like? I have the same set up originally done by Martin but I’d heard it can be done without the smoke?

Good question - pd technology is difficult to get completely smoke free but this runs lambda 0.9 in spool area and rest has a light haze. Also, depends on the hybrid this van has a larger turbine wheel too

Can you say why you estimated the power? You have a dyno don’t you ?

I don’t own a dyno and sometimes the dyno is booked for weeks. Beside dyno is great to get figures but doesn’t actually mean anything, its more important the way the vehicle drives and running within safe limits. Also, dyno without decent cooling can be bad for eg on my own car I saw intake temps of 80deg whereas on road it was 40deg. I think comparing dragy times is far better.

@@BobbySinghRacing but issint dyno necessary for precise tuning/remapping of the vehicle as you can see more things going on when the car is being pushed hard etc ?

@@rytiskurcinskas7179 if dyno is giving you incorrect intake and egt temps how does that help? Oem uses much better cooling than that available in aftermarket. Besides you drive car on the road not dyno. Dyno has its purpose but for tuning it can be bad without decent cooling.

@@rytiskurcinskas7179 No a dyno isn't necessary. On a dyno you want your gear ratio as close to 1:1 as possible. Meaning 3rd or 4th gear, that means your wheel speed will be over 100km/h minimum. Most dyno fans don't go much higher than this. This means your IATs and EGTs will be a lot higher on the dyno than on the road where you do have airflow matched the to vehicle speed. Dyno's do have there purpose though as its easier to alter calibration in a cell.
