I've just ordered this system and wanted to know what you did to the system to get rid of the popping on over run. Would just be as simple as putting bolt in the air sensor hole in the balance pipe?

Block off the air injection using something like a marble

Thanks for the quick reply. I spent some time looking for either a video or image of its position and have come up with nothing. Can you give me some guidance as to how I can identify the air injection tube. Sorry to be a pain but I have to lay the blame at your door, as I am in Love with your bike and it is by far the sweetest sounding one on KZfaq and all your clips are saved in my favorites file to watch for a little bit of inspiration.

When looking at the engine from the front. Above the exhaust outlets there's a rubber hose that plugs into housings above the exhaust outlet on head. Plug that hose with something. This injects air into the factory exhaust for emissions. But causes popping on aftermarket systems.

id really love to see a w1000 with a bit more torque. I love the look and fit and finish of this bike but would like just a little more power. Great bike however.

the exhaust and tuner made a big difference especially in the midrange. So much more pull.

whats the model number of the filter you used? I'm considering getting the EMGO filter variant, just because it has a chrome look to it rather than the K&N red

What is really sucks in this bike is vibration. Terrible to be honest. Vibrates all from balls to fingers 🙂

Compared to most decent bikes. Its power is that if a low build basic bike. To make a bike so unique for present day it stinks they forget about the engine performance. It could be amazing and even more fun for cruising with a decent amount of power.

@@gerryger1731 In old days, I remember my first bike was 350 and next 400, both seemed like a rocket. I believe 800cc should be more than enough, but this is my subjective opinion. What is your determination of decent bike's power?

Hahaha for a decent bike an 800cc needs low 4's not 5's at 0-60 now. I had an xt225 and loved the tw200 and finally decided to get the tw200 and have 2 trail bikes. 04 or 05 I had and test rode 2 tw's of the same year as my bike it's 25cc bigger skinner brother. It was a sad day and depressing on the tw200. It seemed like my 225 was 3 times as powerful. The power the gearing and weight differences did not equal the real feel and funless factor the tw200 was compared with the 225. So juice up the w800 and the tw200 power a little bit or alot(I'll pay more!) and they are back on top of my wish list!
