Blind Skinny Weak St Bernard Barely Alive Rescued By Viktor Larkhill's Let's Adopt International. Elektra is so weak she can't even retract her tongue. Elektra was found by the roadside, alone and starving! She cannot see and can hardly walk. Severely underweight and anaemic, it’s a miracle she has survived. We will do everything we can to help her recover, and for that we need your help today. Please donate, help us save Elektra!
One of the noblest breeds there are, St Bernard’s usually weigh over 100 lbs. Picking up Elektra is like picking up a feather. She has been starved to emaciation and is so dehydrated that her eyes are sunken in her head. We are determined to bring her back from the brink, and, for the first time in her life, she will have everything she needs. She needs the help of our community! Unfortunately the internet is full of these evil animal abuser, which put tiny animals in a horrible condition, so they can pretend their fake animal rescue. Thank you for helping the St Bernard. Larger dogs do not normally live to a grand old age as do medium size dogs. Keeping all large and other dogs in my prayers. Elektra is very special. My heart goes out to her. Not only her but all animals that are mistreated. When will mans inhumane actions against mankind and animals cease? You can tell what a person is like by the way they treat animals.

Of course she eats everything she finds. She’s been HUNGRY a long time. What a sweet girl, she is. Elektra is beautiful. If I could have another dog, I’d adopt her in a second. She has an indomitable drive for life, and as always, you’ve given her what she needed to not only live, but to thrive. I SO LOVE WHAT YOU DO!!!! For now, I’m limited to my monthly donation, but the day will come when I can do more, and I will, without question. Blessings for your caring heart.❤❤❤❤❤❤

She will probably take about a year before she fully recovers I know because I have looked after starving animals and they are starving but you can only feed slowly and their fur nails and body change slowly but it’s amazing when it works and they are getting strength to finally enjoy their life I wish her well and a long happy life.

I am sitting here and cannot stop crying. Just seeing how these poor animals are treated it not only does it saddens me it makes me very mad to think how people have no care for life. If I would take this baby in a heartbeat, but I am 76 yrs. young and I have to live with my daughter and her husband, and we have 2 very large dogs, solid black, brother and sister. The male is about 160 pounds, and the female is about 135 pounds. Plus, we have 6 cats inside and 5 - 6 cats outside. All these are rescue animals. We love ever one of them, but we cannot take anymore animals. My daughter said if she had the money, she would buy a place in the county and take in rescue animals, but now that is not possible. God has given you a Mission and Talent along with a loving heart for saving animals. I pray that God will richly bless you and all those that work with you in saving God's creatures. I always look for your videos. I know I will cry but I still look for them. I am sorry for such a long comment, but I wanted you to know people are praying for you and yours. Please keep up this wonderful work.

Poor Elektra! She’s completely in a new place surrounded by many people. Because she’s blind, she does not see where she is and who are the people around her and so, I am sure, she’s definitely confused not knowing what is being done on her and yet she’s so gentle and behaved and just lets people do what they need to do on her. This must be a terrible feeling. It is for this reason that I am so emotional.

I will take her in a second. I had a Sr. Bernard when my children were little. He was such a sweetheart. I have great grandchildren now, but I would love to have her. I am old, but have so much love to give. aother member of our family. My husband and I would spoil her for the resrt of her life.

You are absolute correct! I have a good friend here in N Y, that is a rescue. I get to see pictures and we talk about it. I have zero feelings for anyone that can do these things to a helpless dog.what breaks my heart the dogs still love their abusers.

Oh my God ! Again what a shame ! But it s a big dog of my country😢😢😢😢😢 ! If you cannot take care of a big dog because it coûts a lot of money don t buy him ! It s a shame they dont ask and need for such bad treatments and be abandoned. Please Viktor give me news of Electra ! She looks in a bad conditions !
