On November 12, 2001, American airlines flight 587 crashed in the residential area at Queens, New York and all the passengers died. The most important thing that is mentioned in this accident sequence is wake turbulence.
Through this video, let’s have a look at what the wake turbulence is and what controllers have to know about wake turbulence.

Hello, great informational video, thanks!! a bit correction tho, the categorization at 2:38 it is not 13.600 kg. it is 136.000 kg is the limit between medium and heavy aircrafts.

Thanks for atc class, this is very useful for us as atc in indonesia.. 👍👍 I have a question related to Separation, in my country, Indonesia, pilots often use the sentence "no objection for traffic continue climb / desend", can this be used as separation? I really hope the next video can explain separation. Not only separation in tower but also in departure/ approach control.. Because many airports in my country don't use radar.. Thanks 👍👍❤️❤️

The phraseology used for ATC is slightly different from country to country and from airport to airport. But We don't think that 'No objection' is a standard phraseology. 🙂We 'll try to deal with the separation related to a specific subject.Thank you so much for joining us.
