As a United fan, despite all our injuries, the tactics in the majority of our games this season have been utterly pathetic. I am ashamed by how bad we are. Ten Hag doesn’t have a backbone, and whatever he's trying to do has not worked all season; every game we've played has been the same. We get dominated by every team we play, and our players make the same mistakes every game. Nothing has changed. I really want to believe in Ten Hag and be patient, but seeing how this season has played out really makes me give up hope. Maybe firing Ten Hag would continue the cycle of firing managers for United, but with Ratcliffe coming in and making changes, I can’t help but think that getting a new manager to fit this new regime would be more beneficial. As a United fan for 20 years, I literally cannot watch this anymore. I give up.

Telling Ten Hag to “wake up” is like telling a body in rigor mortis to sit up. Do not mistake the twitching of the body for life. It’s over.

Talking about the Neverlusen game the thing that struck me was the constant tweaking that Alonso was making from the touchline. Even in near perfection, after seven eighths of a season undefeated, he was trying to constantly improve what he was watching. Reacting to every disappointing result is just going to get the manager sacked yet it’s clear ETH has got a better record than Sir Alex in terms of wins. DESPITE the injuries. You’re right you have ‘no f***ing clue’. 😅 The players that ARE available are tired. Garnacho by example. All the moaning doesn’t help. There have been a huge number of individual errors this season. That’s not the fault of the manager. The right kind of fans are behind ETH. I get you want KZfaq hits so moaning gets more interest. You just have no patience. Honestly I can see us losing to Coventry. I would not even be shocked if it happened.

Too much focus is being given on selections and in game managements but what the actual fuck do they do in training. And who's responsible for their training sessions, surely ETH and his staff. If ETH has tactics and plan, do they even work on it. It's almost like the entire squad only meets up on matchday and ETH picks the team.

Backing the manager is not about him turning it around immediately, it's about backing him when things are tough.

All the people who say "these players have put multiple united managers under the bus" are being way too naive now. Only Rashford, Maguire and AWB have played under multiple managers here, and Dalot but he has been our POTS. Rest have all been either signed or promoted under ETH. They haven't put previous managers under the bus.

Ste is right. The defensive injuries have been an issue. But the manager has his first choice front six. They look like a bunch of clueless strangers that have never played with each other before.

What I can’t wrap my head around is that if we were watching that Ajax team that had de jong and de ligt or even the team that they had the season before we got Erik we would all be saying my god they look coached. Why can’t we get that at united? When u look at the current jobs available in Europe, Erik must be kicking himself that he didn’t stay at Ajax for another season or two. He’d definitely be top candidate for Bayern and Barca maybe even Liverpool. I bet at all 3 of those clubs we’d have seen his style of play within a 1/ 1.5 seasons. When I look at clubs that would appoint a gareth southgate the only clubs I can think of are west ham and new castle under Dan ashworth. I’m struggling with the dross we’re serving up, and I’m pulling my hair out at some of the constant lack of attitude and desire from a select few players that Ineos will hopefully move on (should be basics). However… who is available and an OBVIOUS improvement and almost ‘guarantee’ of success as a manager out there? The answer is 100% no-one. Of course someone might end up being amazing, but you can’t say that now with any conviction at all. He has 1 more year left - Ineos just need to continue the background rebuild, continue restructuring the playing squad as best as they can to FFP (or whatever it’s called now), and let’s see where we are at say January next year. I did think having a full week to train most weeks now, that we’d see an improvement in performance and playing style/patterns. However, I do feel ETH needs his main players back and say 2 or 3 new ones in to enable a psychological reset of the players mentality, as they seem to have accepted underachievement for this season now. 1 more season - or at least half the season - is a no-brainer for me. Buys Ineos time also to make changes, get the stadium good news story and vibe going, maybe announce another good news vibe with a new or improved training ground…. These things will lift the sense of gloom and also help ‘sell’ United to players we want to buy too. Afterall, a ‘resurgent, reawakening giant who will have a 90k+ brand new stadium and a brand new state of the art training ground’ is a nice selling aid for getting players through the door. BE PATIENT FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER SEASON PEOPLE!!! (Please 😂) ⚽️

ETH was told Rashford, Bruno & Scott is not for sale, so he keeps playing them whenever they are available to prove that they are not good enough.

If I’m Ineos, I’m not taking the risk of keeping ETH and have the team play the same style/system next year and then have to sack him in November. That would be disastrous. The issues are the same every week regardless of personnel.

It's the midfield, don't provide cover, don't provide chances, defenders always having to make last-ditch challenges, forwards having to feed off scraps, when was the last time we had a clear shot through good build up play? it's always a defensive mistake or nicking the ball in midfield and being quick on the turnover.

I still back the manager but I was frustrated with that performance. I agree I wanted different players on, the usual suspects as of Lately … Mount and Amad on. Some people may not want to agree but even Antony but he’s injured.

League tables don't lie and our position in the PL is where we deserve to be. In virtually every United game this season our opponents have been better drilled (they know what they're supposed to be doing) and their players look committed (they put in 100% effort. Whilst, our players look as if they don't know what they are supposed to be doing and their effort level is summed up by Marcus Rashford who seems to be playing in 2nd gear and doesn't want to get his shorts dirty and his shirt sweaty

You can't blame injuries for us not looking like we have a clue what our tactics, pattern or style is. None of the other teams around the top 6 completely lose their identity when they have injuries - the replacements know what's expected of them. Even our first choice don't know that.

Personally I’d keep him next season just because if they sack him it’s following the same pattern as the last couple of managers at least. Where they have a good season and the following one it goes to pot. ETH has to take some responsibility for it, but it’s still down to the players to perform on the pitch. The players need to be told by Sir Jim or someone higher up if you don’t what to play for him then your on the transfer list. Because if we get a new manager the problem players will play incredible for him for the first season get a new contract and then just stop playing for him so he gets sacked and we just start the process again. I feel INEOS won't sack him until the FA Cup final at least (Considering we do beat Cov). Ten Hag has not done well this season, but there were many factors affecting his ability to do his job. I feel INEOS will not be reactionary and give Ten Hag another season just on what he achieved last season. I agree with the 'change something'. Show us (Erik) that you acknowledge there is a problem, wether it be it injuries or players just not doing a job. Start Mount, play Bruno deeper... I agree with that. Start to sort the midfield out, stop the shots against us, protect our goal. It may be shit to watch, but it is already! Band aid the leaks if need be, also we need to work on supplying Rasmus more. We need crosses, I may be old school but a striker who only gets one or two chances a game it's not good. People said Andy Cole needed 6 or 7 shots to score one but he did get the chances and he did score!... I'd be happy if Rasmus got that service

The reason why Aa Fergie wouldn’t work now is because everyone else is moving quickly. It was a good bet on Fergie, but there is not to say it’s the same for EtH. The next manager may just be the one, or the one after that. We cannot use the same Fergie template for every manager we try.

Maybe ETH’s tactics are, “to work on this same shit until it works” making them accountable as well as allow other player to lack respect for each other, especially those who are not performing. Hence why no changes, and rumours of erikeson not happy.
