I do not recommend that anybody camp in high winds. Its been hard to get out recently and we went ahead with this camp as it was the day before the storm and knew we had time to get out before it hit, we kept a keen eye on the weather and were ready to bail if needed. What a great epic video everything is spot on. Glad you are safe. I understand the getting out issue. We have had snow falling here for 4 days straight, and i am needed to get out and explore and make videos. I am going to try and get out and do a video this weekend to an area that has an old ghost town that was 100 years ago there are some old bldgs, and mine adits i reasearched the area and its got.a ton of history, then cook game hens over a fire, some flat breads and a chcolate dessert over the fire. As always Andy your videos are epic and greatly appreciated. Cheers 🍺🍺

You must have been in Camelot where it only rains in the nighttime! Lovely supper - I was about to cry about no veggies but you did have onion, so I won't mention it. :D Glad it all turned out okay. Storms can surprise us with their intensity. We had a horrid wind for two days and woke this morning to snow. Ended up with about 3.5 inches, which is a LOT for the desert this time of year. But ya know, altitude is a contributor and we'll take any moisture we can get.

So many trees are falling down now, even if there is not a storm. So that was a gamble, as you probably both knew. I just had a dead standing tree blow over yesterday. And on a russian channel three of the closest trees to the cabin had blown over, and two of them had fallen across the cabin roof. What are the odds of that...
