I love your video. My family and I have been coming here for the last 13 years. We stay over at the Sea Creat usually. I’ve been many times to the places you’ve shown. We plan on retiring there. love it there. 👍

Sure the skate place was a restaurant called the Patisserie think the owner now has a place on the tamiami trail. Also remember the 7,11 to and the broken egg, original one. Great walk thanks

We just watched today. We are visiting in April for the first time. Then going over to AMI. We are not familiar with Siesta Key. Do you prefer staying in this area vs. Siesta Key down the other way? Looks a little quieter and very walkable. Very nice area...are you pleased with your motel? We haven't bookef yet. We are only able to spend 2 days this time..but want to see what its like. Is the beach nice in the Siesta Village area? Wanted to ask what the large sandy point or inlet area is called? Loved the sunsets and storms..just beautiful. Figure we could ask y'all since you have been visiting for so long. We both just love your videos. We seem to like the same places. Thank you so much.

We have always stayed at the same place, ever since I started going as a child back in the early 1970s. I am sure there are many nice places, but I have never stayed anywhere else. It is very close to The Village, and yes, the beach is very nice. This is about a mile north of the main public beach where the biggest crowds are, but same white sand, clear water, etc. I am not sure what inlet area you are talking about, unless you are referring to the bay area that separates Siesta Key from Lido Key. That lies at the north end of the island. I know it as Sarasota Bay. It is a very beautiful area, as is Anna Maria Island. We have several reviews from Anna Maria, as well. We love the Tortuga Inn there, as that is where we stay on AMI.

We have stayed at Tortuga as well. We watched your AMI videos as well. Loved it there. I'm thinking it may be less crowded in the Siesta Village area vs the main beach area?? I'm thinking we would probably enjoy walking around that area in Siesta Village and have a few hours on the beach. May want to stay longer next time. Thank you for your videos they are beautifully done. Hope to meet y'all one day in either Gatlinburg or Florida areas...we also love the Blowing Rock area and BRP. Beautiful area...Thank you again.

I'm thinking it may have been Lido Key...reminded me of Bean Point on AMI...

@paulettebrochet2011 There was a shot that I did with the drone, that does show the south end of Lido Key, and it's a white sandy area that comes to a point. That does look like Bean Point on Anna Maria Island. I think that may be what you saw.
