Walking in Cartagena, Spain - What to Do on Your Day in Port

We take a walk through Cartagena, Spain. We visit some interesting sites around town including: The Sea Wall, Despeñaperros Hill, the Old Bullring, the Panoramic elevator, Mirador Parque Torres, Castillo de la Concepción and the Quarter of the Roman Forum.
We also walked along Calle Mayor, a shopping and dining area.
Cartagena was the first stop on our 29 day cruise from Barcelona, Spain and Los Angeles, California on the Emerald Princess.
This video was recorded in November 2019.

How long ago were you in Spain? When was this cruise? Hopefully you're off the ship and at home, or still on the ship with no Covid. May be the safest place to be.

My cruise in September will dock from 9-7PM, that is 10 hour. I am thinking to take a bus tour to Mursia for 5 hrs, which leaves plenty of time for Cartagenia. What do you think?

As English is an international language, why didn’t he spend more time in the tourist office to get maps and leaflets and advice on its history as one of the major historical maritime ports of Spain to view the bay , I can now only see modern yachts and tourist vessels.but the first invented Spanish submarine can be seen there , built by Isaac Peral.? I taught English there to the naval officers in 1965 under Franco when military service was compulsory and German U boat submarines could be visited with permission.and the bay was full of battleships and war frigates.
