The walk begins in front of El Insergente Hotel, passes through Mercado Hidalgo, various plazas and up the narrow callejones to the lookout of El Pipila. The walk ends back in the city with a nice view of University of Guanajuato. Thanks for watching.

I grew up in Zacatecas, and we have callejones there; but Guanajuato is like 10 levels up lol. Very nice! I like the video and the sound, it's like being there without doing all the walk. You were out of breath at times haha

Hey Josè! Zacatecas is another spectacular place I can’t wait to go back to - what a cool place to grow up in! Those stairs to the lookout were difficult to scale while trying my best to keep breathing noise down 😅. Thanks for watching amigo!

Zacatecas is also very beautiful, but they they should ban cars from more streets like Guanajuato did to be more walkable.

Outstanding. I was watching some of your videos in the background and I was like, "Wow, that looks so familiar!" and then I realized I had actually been here a few years ago. I got some nice gifts from this place, and some of those heavy duty colorful shopping bags they have for sale with imagery on the side (skeletons, Blessed Virgin Mary, Pancho Villa, etc.) Thanks for your high quality videos - they are gold. I am blown away there aren't more viewers - but I am sure in time your channel will explode. I also enjoy the fact that you are silent during this video, so we can really experience the environment for what it is, sans commentary. Thanks my friend

Hey Raymond!! Excuse the delayed response, I’ve just gotten back from a week in Guatemala! Sadly I couldn’t film a walking only clip there as the homelessness situation was out of control and I felt unsafe & at risk of being mugged! Seriously your comment made my day, THANKS so much!! Gracias Eddie!!! You are going to love it in Guanajuato, don’t get lost underground in the tunnel network😜. Day of the dead at the cemetery (Panteon?) in Guanajuato would be surreal, I wonder if they let people in on those days? It’s up by the mummy museum if you decide to go and we’ll worth it.

Me gustó mucho el vídeo, está bien filmado tiene buena altura , buen ritmo ,buenos movimientos , el sonido es natural , les felicito, solo faltó que dijeran en vos , el nombre de las calles , en que barrio estaban o mercado para ubicarnos. ( si pueden filmar un vídeo con dron y explicarlo se les agradecería mucho, nos gusto cómo familia felicitaciones

Hola Finn! Hey great to see the old streets of Guanajuato again - loved this city the most from the small amount of places I've been to so far in the good old states of Mexico and so nice to see it has bounced back, from the seems of things, since your earlier walking tour a year or so back. Really enjoyed the tour of the Mercado Hidalgo (spelling?) and I remember fondly in your last clip the young fellah walking through to the Butchers shop with half a beast on his shoulder, a couple of dogs sniffing around in hopeful curiosity, haha! Looking forward to your next installment, adios!

@@FinnDelMundoTravel I flew into Dallas/Ft. Worth There are NO mountains!! mostly flat, but outside the city beautiful rolling hills. My favorite place this trip was a tiny little town called Dublin with historical buildings and cool people! :) Btw are you still in Mexico? I am trying to get stuff ready to head to Puebla maybe in a month or so.... My host family called and asked me to come back :) Good stuff!

Hey Di! Yeah, there are a mix of paved in the central city area and in the smaller alleyways are mostly cobbled. All of it has a medieval feel to it! 😍

I always go for Airbnb - the map function usually gives a rough indication of where the apartment will be but isn’t always exact. Staying right in the centro zone is the best bet, some accomodations are far from the city and in my opinion lack the charm. Being amongst the organised chaos is what it’s all about 😃!!

Colombia is probably next stop for me (well I’ll have to do Guatemala in a month also because my Mexican visa is close to expiry). Brazil is also a country I’d love to see!!!!! So many places in the world to see and not enough money in my bank account to get around them all😅😜. My dream is to visit Ushuaia at the bottom of South America!
