I used comedy in my live shows and it got me a part on a TV show but I messed up and tried to make a joke but it offended one of the casino owners so I lost the part. Sometimes being TOO silly can be a bad thing. 😂

Sadly, it took the pandemic for people to discover Tim Purcell, F&F, and The Mustangs. I view this group of people like the Big Bang, like what happened in Liverpool with the Beatles, a small hidden miracle that conquered the world.

I wish there was more from this fantastic little 2014 concert. All we have are "Hip to My Heart" and "Can't Hurry Love" by Foxes and Fossils, then "Roll With It" and this from The Mustangs. Same show, same day.

I listen to Real Singers like Tim to learn How to Sing. I'm just a Wanna Be. But Tim You Have it Figured Out! I Also Appreciate the Fact that You Speak of Prayer and Christianity. There are too Few of Us these Days that have Broad Shoulders Enough to be Humbled Yet Stay Strong. I have a strong feeling that "Daddy" runs a very tight ship. GREAT discipline, spot on harmonies, and attention to detail on the signature rhythm & lead chops. GREAT Drummer & Bassist! All that young beauty and talent doesn't hurt a thing!! Can't believe you're not on tour! If you need a good songwriter I've got lots of stuff!

When I was in US Navy A-school I was in Memphis one weekend walking in with my feet 10 foot off of Beale st when this song came out it was surreal. Your cover is great brother!!!! 👍

Pick any one of 60+ songs that Tims bands cover and search you tube for someone who does it better.Not just as well ,but better.What never is mentioned is that Tim's arrangements are often better than the original version, And he has the talented people available to pull them off.

Same here. My wide and most of my friends died in late 2000 and 2001. 2001 was a very hard year. I'm at th er age when I'm losing more friends and relatives regularly. This music helps a lot!

@@CalJennings Hey Cal. So sorry for your loss. As I watch this video just now, but for the umpteenth time... I am reminded of my loss as well. I was the videographer for this show (mobile cam). My crew was made up with my 3 best friends. First my wife, Roberta, died in 2016. She was the camera (off stage left) and shot all the video that you see when the vocalists are singing from the side line view. Some amazing footage. The camera view of the stage front right was from Jim Farmer. Jim died in 2017. The 3rd camera person (stage front center) was Jim's wife, Claire Farmer. Claire passed away this year, 2022. Watching this and other videos, for me, is always a memory experience of my loss of 3 great people, but also of happy memories, working together to do these memory videos for Tim and the Band. I watch every shot and think this was Roberta's or Jim's or Claire's shot. And I always love how Tim takes all these camera shots and melds them into a great video of each performance.

I knew that they were something special the first time I heard them. They eased my trouble when I was in the hospital near death. They may have been responsible for saving my life.

Videoed Bellas, most of the Twisted Tacos, the Chamblee 4th (such as this particular video), a Mustangs concert on 4th in Powder Springs, the FOXLESS FOSSILS in Hapeville and some of the studio songs when first started. It’s an experience!!
