We can't really call ourselves a band, but rather just some guys that get together some times to pick a little. Hi there Jack, ..John Hartford ,to me was a true master of the fiddle, playing many styles...Bill, who you see in our videos sitting to the left of the mandolin player, was aquainted with John. John visited our area often our the years to play with local musicians...

Tom has been playing around 80 years,so I think he could fiddle a tune while discussing the theory of relativity...thanks for dropping in..

@spikeduval We are really pleased that you like our music that much. I suppose ol' Tom is pretty much at ease with that fiddle after 80 some years of sawin' away at it. Had it not been for Tom, there would be a lot fewer fiddlers in our area. His patience, and sometimes lack there of, has helped dozens of folks to keep working at it until they got it right...He is a purist in the sense that he likes it best done the old way. We sure appreciate your visits and comments....*ron
