I truly hate this time of year with all the Mother’s Day stuff in the stores. I lost my mom back in 2016 to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about her and her laughter her smile and all her phone calls to me leaving me messages on my cell phone☺️. I really miss those things! And as far as my heart is concerned, every day is Mother’s Day❤️So shout out to all the wonderful fantastic loving mothers that we lost. We love you, and you are not forgotten.🌺🌻🌼🌸💐💛

I’m old I’m class of 1969 and my baby is going to be 45. I remember one day my youngest was around 2 or 3 and he was constantly calling Mama, Mama until I finally said I don’t want to hear Mama one more time today. He stood there and looked at me and said Ann. I had to laugh. My middle son is 48 and his son graduates this year. And my oldest is going to be 50. And that really makes me feel old.

I really need to get to Walmart and soon. Putting it off bc I know I will spend way too much. I thought the wind yesterday was crazy. I was driving around with my eyes dilated, could hardly see anything. Had to get to Jewel and Aldi, what a day it was. I forgot to get gas now I need to get out again. I was exhausted when I got home around 5:00 pm. I never look forward to Mother's Day anymore. My mom has been gone a long time, I still miss her and always will. Thanks for Walmart video. Peony is a beautiful flower. Accent on the first syllable. :) They come in white and various shades of pink or red and bloom in June where I live. Very easy to grow. Plant them and they come up every year with no special care.

Class of 1980. Boo ya! No cell phones or computers/ internet. Television stopped at midnight. We used maps when we travelled. When you talked to your boyfriend on the phone it was connected to the wall in the main room in the house where everyone could hear.

Class of 1991, my wife was 1992, our kids are 15, and 17, youngest plays football and rugby, Boy Scouts too, oldest is in high school marching band, busy times!

My grandma on my father's side always made a point of keeping in touch and letting us know she cared. May she rest in peace 🕊️ My mom was adopted and the person who filled the role of mother didn't like her and in turn didn't like me because I look like her 😐🤷🏻‍♀️ She loved my sister though 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh no! The comment section is so sad, everyone is missing their moms because of the Mother’s day stuff. I am not blessed in any sense of the word other than when it comes to my mom, she and my two boys (cats not kids) are all I have. I have never been blessed with children of my own or money or health or anything else but thank god of all the things the one I do have is my mom, shes my best friend and I love her more than anything else, I wish my health situation was better so that she at 72 could relax more and not have to do so much for us. As the baby of the family I was spoiled but never a brat we were still brought up with manners and respect but my mom could never get my dad to stop buying us stuff and giving us an allowance and stuff like that. My nana was a great nana but she was never one to spoil us. I think after my sister passed when I was ten my dad even went more overboard with the buying and spoiling, he has since passed too.

My mother died at age 38. I am now 69; we were not able to have children. Not close to any grandparents. Mother’s Day is one I spend in a cave. Class of 1972.

I hate Mother’s Day. When I was married and my kids were little, I’d say you need to take them to get a card or something. They need it for their grandmothers, and it would be kind of nice if I got one, considering on their mother and I was told the famous phrase that probably makes most women’s toes curl.” you aren’t my mother.”. No you stupid jerk. I am not your mother, but I am the mother of your children and that should count for something. It didn’t they grew up. They never felt the need to do anything for me because they didn’t know that I was, of course, sending flowers to my mother signing their names to them, and that the gift that their father got to give to his mother I had purchased. From Valentine’s Day on Mother’s Day is in the rearview mirror I so glad I have Streaming capabilities and I never watch regular television, the flowers the perfumes the candy all the BS that goes with it is all more than I personally can handle. I don’t even like my mother and I make sure she has everything that she should have and lo and behold my children don’t like their mother so they don’t feel the need to do anything, I wonder if my daughter goes through the same thing with her girls. Well, when I divorced their father they were both in college they found out that their father had far more money then their mother did. They didn’t see him as the con man and thief that he was. The last 21 years hasn’t been easy, but I would rather have gone through it like this, then have been married to that man one more day than I had to be hence I hate these holidays with a passion.
